Husband's 31st Birthday
Hello Steemit friends, How are yo all? I hope we are all under the grace and mercy of the Living God.
It's my pleasure to be here with you, so I will share how we celebrated my husband's 31st birthday with you. It was back in August 20, 2022, and I wanted to give something special to my husband so after dinner we bought ice cream and soda for the whole family.
To begin with, that morning, we all woke up early, then prepared breakfast especially for the kids then I went to work. That day I was assigned on the laboratory and I had to check on the quality of the raw materials that are being delivered to the company. Good enough that the corn are on good quality and are all accepted for the feeds milling. Since it was all in good quality, the work was done easily and fast.

Also, the sky displayed a good weather in the morning up until noon, it was hot and bright but it's most people would want.
But as the time rolled by, the clouds did as well, covering the open sky with dark clouds and soon the rain came pouring in and soon after the sky cleared up, the reflections of the pavement displayed and incredible reflection.
Before we went out from work, I caught a photo of my colleague's colorful umbrella. Isn't this pretty?
The sky is dark when I went out from work and it was drizzling but not too hard to wet me; I came home dry and safe.
I called my husband to come to the bus top and bring me umbrella, little did he know that I held a small surprise for him. He got confused why I insisted of crossing the road and entering the 7eleven store and there I bought two bottles of soda and 2 liters of a 3-flavored ice cream to which the kids enjoyed so much.
The thing about being a parent and having a birthday is that the surprises were not centered to the adult that is celebrating their special day but to the kid's happiness and I am glad that my husband and I both agreed on this thought.

Back home, the husband asked my sister to cook pork soup and we all enjoyed the food during dinner. Now the kids were very excited for the sweets and so after dinner, we gave it for everyone to enjoy.
But what my husband was amazed so much on is birthday is that my mother brought home a huge ohong , his favorite mushroom and soon it was added to the port soup. Look at how pretty it is.
