Assalamu Alaikum, today I want to tell you about social media, which is taking more advantage of this trend and now people are using social media as a source of income. When I saw this contest, I felt very good and I am participating in it with great joy. I am grateful to @abdullahw2 for holding this contest. Now I will share in it how beneficial or harmful it is for us or how people are taking advantage of it by using it.

I use WhatsApp the most on social media. I had very good friends from college with whom I have spent a long time. We used to hang out, but now our studies have been completed, due to which she lives in another city and she used to come to our city to study by bus or van and she is very good. I have a very good friendship with her. Now I am free from her household chores and talk to each other. I share my things with her. Apart from this, I use YouTube on social media. There I listen to my favorite dramas, movies or news, etc., whose stories I like very much. And whenever I am studying, etc., where I do not understand, I take help from YouTube. Apart from this, I also use Google. YouTube is useful for information and entertainment. Instagram is also useful for viewing images and videos and trends.

| How much time do you spend daily on social media and what do you usually do there? |

I spend about three to four hours a day on social media. I chat with my friends and share how my day went with them. And they also share it with all their friends on WhatsApp as soon as their day is over or if they have bought something new or made something special at home. We have created groups on WhatsApp and we share whatever we talk about in the group. Apart from that, I also watch TikTok very much. Most of my time is spent watching TikTok. Apart from that, I watch new videos on Google every day and listen to the news about how the situation in our country is going. Today, the situation in our country is very bad. And I also make and share my own posts every day. If not more, then what I make and share on Steam takes me an hour.

Yes, social media provides many opportunities for earning. People have got a very good opportunity to earn. One is that there are many online jobs sitting at home. Out of these, they are earning their money by creating an online work account. After completing their studies, students used to sit at home free. They were not getting any job nor did they have any other employment due to which they were very worried and had become depressed. Now they have a very good job that they are earning millions of rupees by sitting at home and doing online work and are fulfilling their own needs. If someone is not educated, they create their own account on YouTube or TikTok and upload videos and create different blogs there. Their earning starts within a few days. That is everyday. Someone makes a video of something or the other and uploads it, so their earning starts within a few days. In this way, there are many people on social media who are earning money.

If social media is used wisely, it can be a great friend in which we can get all kinds of help. Even if we don't know anything about something or don't know the name of the shop, we can order it from home. We don't need to go anywhere. If we order online, that thing reaches our home. If we like someone's suit from a good boutique, but we can't go to that job, we can order that dress at home. Apart from that, we can take help from our cousin's study on Google. If there is any kind of dress design that we don't understand, we can watch the video and try it. Even better, we can build a house. If someone doesn't understand a question, we can search on Google and get help. In my opinion, social media is a double edged sword. If used correctly, it becomes a great source of communication and income. People benefit a lot from social media. It is the best way to get money and make connections, but if it is used for wasting time or for negative gain, it can also be harmful. If it is used for any purpose, we can do it. If we are bringing change in our life by giving TikTok or watching anything on YouTube, then this social media can be beneficial for us and if someone uses it for harm, then it is also very harmful for them. In my opinion, social media is working like a very good friend in today's era.
