Police Station Harappa / Thana Harappa

To continue my contribution to Steem Atlas, today I am going to pin a government building on the Steem Atlas map. We know this government building as the Police Station, Harappa. This is the old police station of Harappa, where all kinds of cases are registered.

There is a historical point in the city of Harappa, which we know as the Harappa Museum. Right in front of the Harappa Museum is the Harappa Police Station, where all the people around register their cases. If anyone has a problem, they register their complaint here, and immediate action is taken.

This police station is located on Old Harappa Road. From the outside, you can only see a gate, and there is a signboard of the police station, which lets you know that this is a police station, and everything else is inside it.

If we talk about a while ago, then this police station used to be in a very dilapidated condition. It was a small building with very narrow rooms and offices, but now it has been renovated again. Now I am going to show you its main building, which looks very beautiful.

Since Harappa is a historical city, and according to its history, the Harappa Police Station has also been renovated to highlight the history of Harappa.

If we talk about the interior of this building, as soon as we enter the building, the first thing we see is a counter in front of us. By going to these counters, you can register your things with the Complaint, or if you want to get your police character certificate, you can also apply for it from here. If you are getting your police character certificate from the main DPO office, then an email is also sent from there, through which a clearance letter is given to you from here, so that you can get your police certificate from anywhere. These are the main counters that have been created for this purpose.

For the convenience and ease of the public, two separate counters have been built here. Their token number is displayed on them. The person who comes takes his token number, and their turn comes based on this token number. In this way, we mostly avoid the ru, sh and the work is done in a civilized manner.

On the other side of these counters, we see the main office where the in-charge sits, who is in charge of this police station, whom we know as SHO, known as ASI.

The biggest convenience here is that you directly talk to the SHO and ASI, and they will tell you a good way to solve your problem. They will first try to reconcile you if you have a fight or enmity with someone. If not, then they will tell you the legal method and explain the entire process.

As I have mentioned before, Harappa is a historical city, and it has been renovated according to its history. So, you will see on the walls inside this police station the same things that you see in the Harappa Museum are decorated here. These are the things that we discovered during the excavations in the Harappa city five thousand years ago.

The purpose of installing these things is that even five thousand years ago, the people who were here, who lived here, were an educated nation and a very developed nation. They had all the necessities of life available to them. They had food supplies and military equipment, and everything was available.

A large board has been installed to highlight the history of Harappa, and its entire history is written on it, from when it was built to when it was renovated, and why it happened. They can get all the information from this board. The purpose of installing such things here in the Harappa Police Station is to highlight its history.

When we go forward from this main building, we see rooms on both sides. On one side, we see the investigation room in charge. In this room, if any person whose investigation is to be done, in what case he has come here, he is brought to this room, made to sit there, and all the details are taken from him. If he has committed any crime, he is punished accordingly. All those people who are illegal, who have been brought here to the Harappa police station due to some crime, are made to sit in this room, and a complete investigation is conducted. They are asked about all the circumstances.

On the other side of the investigation room, you will see a waiting hall. You can sit there and wait. If you have to meet someone or file a complaint, there is a rush here. You can go to this waiting hall and wait. There are facilities like fans, chairs, etc. There, sit and wait comfortably. When your turn comes, you will be called, and you can explain your problem.

Many people cause various kinds of damage on the roads, and after causing damage, they disappear, abandoning their vehicles, or there are many people who are riding stolen bikes. When the police set up roadblocks on the road, they check the motorcycles there, check their documents, and they turn out to be fake, so in this way, they take the motorcycles into their possession. Here are all the motorcycles that have reached here due to some crime or the other. Either they were stolen or someone was harmed by them. Sometimes they have accidents and people run away, abandoning their vehicles. So all these motorcycles are the ones that are currently in the possession of the Harappa police station, and their investigation is being done.

There are two types of washrooms in the same building, one for ladies and the other for gentlemen. Both have separate washrooms, and special care is taken to ensure their cleanliness.

If we talk about the past, there was no such good arrangement; people could not use the washroom here, but now there is a very good arrangement in this new building. Special care is taken for cleanliness. Similarly, the washroom is also thoroughly cleaned, and it has been made a beautiful washroom.

You can read these boards to know how much time is required for something and how long it takes to complete it. Everything is written here. In addition, barcodes have also been created here, which you can scan to access their official channels and pages.

Since the area of this police station is quite large, its building has been built in the middle of the entire area, and a parking space has been left on one side of this building where staff members park their vehicles who come to file their reports can park their vehicles. This is an open parking space.

There is no special arrangement for shade, so you may have to park your car in the sun as well, but there are some trees around this parking lot. You can park your car in the shade of these trees or in the shade of this building, so this is an open space for parking.

To reach this building, you will see paved roads. Tuff tiles are installed here, so there is no problem with traffic jams. You can easily reach this building. In addition, an open park has been built in front of this building, and green grass has been planted inside it. You can also sit and wait there. Sometimes there is a rush inside in winter, so if you have to wait, you can sit outside in the sun and wait.

Being a government building, this building has been made very beautiful and has all kinds of facilities. This parking area and this park have also been made for our own convenience so that we can sit here and wait.
