Today, I will share the story of a recent picture I took. I clicked this picture on March 21st.

I had purchased two train ticket to return my village home from Dhaka.Chilahati Express was our train. Departure time of our train from Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Station was 5 PM. My husband and I reached at Kamalapur Railway Station from our Narayanganj home before 3 PM. We then sat down in a seating area and placed our bags beside us. I told my husband that there were still almost 2 hours before our train would leave, and that I needed to buy a magazine book for my nephew and a newspaper to pass the time. My nephew, Muntasir, loves the book "Biggan Chinta" published by Prothom Alo.

So, my husband and I decided to step out through the main gate of Kamalapur Railway Station to buy both the "Biggan Chinta" book and a newspaper. I have bought books from here before. As you can see, there is an uncle sitting with books next to a steel fence. This is not so far from the main gate of Kamalapur Railway Station. There is a large collection of books. We can buy both local and foreign books, including translations, at very low prices. After we arrived, I greeted the uncle and asked him for the "Biggan Chinta" book for March, as well as a Prothom Alo newspaper. The uncle handed me the book. The price of the book is 50 Bangladeshi Taka, or 2 Steem.

These book stalls are not permanent; they are set up in an open environment by the book owners. If you ever visit Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Station and feel like passing the time, you can buy a book or a newspaper here to read. Even though the stalls are in an open environment, I was really impressed by the vast collection of books they have. I really enjoy buying books from here as they are available at very low prices, which is a big benefit for us.
