The Diary Game - September 19, 2025: A Blessed Friday Activity

Hello, good afternoon and best wishes to all my Steemian friends. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share my daily activities on this happy day.

I woke up to the melodious sound of the call to prayer (adhan) from the loudspeaker of the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque in the village where I have lived for almost ten years. The call to prayer signaled the arrival of dawn. I quickly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to clean myself. After leaving the bathroom, I drank a glass of water, which has many benefits for maintaining good health. It's a simple thing, but it's very good for keeping the body fit. Next, I performed the two-rak'at sunnah prayer at home before heading to the mosque. Shortly after the sunnah prayer, the iqamah (call to prayer) was heard, signaling the imminent start of the congregational dawn prayer.

Then I left the house in the still dark and cold weather and headed for the nearby mosque. After praying the morning prayer in congregation, I walked straight home, breathing in the still-fresh morning air. The air was still fresh, untouched by pollution and vehicle exhaust fumes. After a few minutes of light exercise, I returned to the yard and took advantage of the time before leaving for work, lying down with Raffa. As it approached 7 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, I had breakfast prepared by my wife and briefly warmed up the car's engine. Warming up the car's engine before driving maintains the condition of the engine and electrical system.

Next, I left my beloved home and headed to school in the Paya Punteut village area. The school's proximity meant I arrived promptly. Especially since it was still early in the morning, the roads were still relatively empty of vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled. As usual, before arriving at school, I stopped at my favorite coffee shop, Lom Kupi, for a cup of black coffee. Not long after, I left the coffee shop and headed straight to the school I'd attended for almost twenty years. After parking my car, I headed to my office to fill out my fingerprint attendance form. Next, the students and teachers joined the field for a communal Quran recitation. On this bright Friday morning, it was my turn to recite Surah Yasin.

Every Friday, a special day for Muslims, I am scheduled to teach after break. However, I have additional duties as the duty coordinator, so I must ensure the teaching and learning process runs smoothly. While waiting for my teaching schedule, I completed several other tasks that were already my responsibility. After teaching for two hours, around noon, I headed home to rest and prepare to go to the mosque for Friday prayers. Tgk H Nazli Hasan, Lc, MA served as the Friday prayer preacher at the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque. That evening, after Isha prayer, I took Raffa for a massage at his usual place in the Meunasah Alue village.
