Around 10 in the evening Last September 30 as the month is about to end, a powerful 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Northern part of Cebu. We are a bit far from the fault line but we can still the vibrate of the land because we also felt around 4 magnitude. It lasted for 10-15 seconds, several houses and different establishments ruin, roads were cracked, and had some landslides. It was indeed a reminder to all of us how unpredictable nature can be, even we are at sleep it will change our life.

In the aftermath of the said quake, many individuals, vloggers and politicians send some help. In this situation, I really can remember those year that we were hit by the strongest typhoon Odette that we left no wifi, electricity and water outage. We also cannot buy anywhere because of the heavy damage in our town. I really can feel them, worst since their houses were damage most of them just sleep in the road. And as of the moment they are still experiencing many aftershocks.
Going back to volunteers, I can see how the Bayanihan happened here. Because the road going to North experienced heavy traffic because of the big tracks bringing relief goods going there. Vloggers used their platforms to raise awareness and mobilize donations from their followers. The effort shown of the Filipinos reflected the spirit of Bayanihan showing that in times like this, unity and compassion can bring hope and healing.
I am also accepting donations from you so I can send it to my friends living their who also asked for donation drive especially our sister church their who experience it. Small amount really counts.
We are sorry for what happened.
This is truly a sad reality, lives lost and some injured, tells more that the life we have is indeed in the hands of Alan, so sorry for this experience.
Alah bless the donors and replenish them greatly.
My heart goes deeply to those affect by the earthquake. It's really sad that people lost their loved ones and now going through that pains.
Please stay safe there my friend.
