Ice Blocks are very cold. In Nigeria we use ice blocks to make minerals and other few things cold especially when we want to share them in a party or meeting. This is used in replacement of a refrigerator. You and I know that the refrigerator helps to preserve our perishable things and keep these things cold. I thank @suboohi for organizing this contest.

My friends and I who were the bigger brothers in an association in my church currently filled with alot of small brothers, made preparation for a meeting we wanted to host. We made a draft of the things we will need in the meeting and we started buying them the day before the meeting.

For this particular post I will be focusing more on the ice blocks we bought. We bought alot of things and my friends who are steemians like me will definitely talk about this too because we all took pictures of some moments. On Saturday afternoon we bought take away floater plate that we will serve the rice that will be cooked and share it among those that will attend the meeting.

In the evening that same day we went to where blocks are sold and we made an enquiry of the price of ice blocks. Is very expensive than I thought as one ice block is worth 2.45 steem. We told the man about the things we will be putting inside the drum and he said with such amount of drinks and water we will need to buy 8 ice blocks.

We tried to price the ice block but the man stood his ground, he refused to reduce the price for us and we were left with no choice because that was the only available place we could buy ice blocks and the day for the meeting was the next day. He told us to pay in advance and we gave him 8.17 worth of steem in naira and told him we will take them the next morning and complete the payment. The next day I was busy with some arrangements for the meeting and my friends went to take the blocks and they took pictures of it and sent this particular one to me.
