Good Morning Steemians

Today is Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ and I went to church this morning because is an holy day of obligation. Alot of people didn't attend today's morning mass and am convinced most of them will attend the evening mass my parish also have today by 6pm, I will also go there with our altar servers president this evening because we have to organize somethings for the mass.

Ok let me fall back to the business of the day. I attended a deanery retreat with some of my fellow altar servers on Sunday and alot of altar servers from different parishes in our deanery were present. We started the retreat by praying the rosary and after that the catechist of the parish talked to us and he also reminded us of alot of things.

The Parish Priest of the church then talked to us after the catechist finished and we started an interactive section. I was very happy that we were opportuned to ask the Priest questions. He's our Chaplain and this means that in the entire deanery we belong to, he is in charge of the altar servers.

I was very pleased with the environment too, the weather was friendly and I was happy the rain didn't fall. I raised my hand indicating interest in asking a question and the chaplain allowed me to talk so I stood up and introduced myself by telling the whole house my name and the name of my Parish.

I asked him some important questions and I didn't even know one of the altar servers from my parish took pictures of me, he is also known as the deanery provost of the association and he was organizing people who were just coming, to vacant seats they can sit on. My questions were answered and I was satisfied with the answers. I sat down and listened to other people's questions and they answers they received so that I can learn more.
