Salaam to all of you. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing well too. I would like to talk about My hectic day at the Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar today. On Eid my grandmother suffered a shattered hip bone after falling.

None of the hospitals we looked at in our area had the necessary facilities to address her condition. For better care we took her to Peshawar today. After a long day filled with anxiety we eventually made it safely to the hospital. I hope she gets well quickly and receives the attention she needs here.

Since Peshawar is so far away from us we got up at three in the morning. I started by getting my grandmother dressed and changing her clothes. After that I prepared myself by washing my hands. At 4 a.m. we left the house. We pulled over for breakfast after an hour of driving. In the car I had cake and tea.

When breakfast was over, we went on our way. We finally arrived in Peshawar at precisely 7:30 a.m. after a protracted and exhausting journey. We wasted no time in traveling directly to the Hayatabad Medical Complex. The medical facility was large and packed. To get my grandmother's OPD slip so the doctor could examine her, my mamu walked to the reception. There, we waited for a while.

My cousin then arrived to greet us. He works as a dentist at Peshawar's Khyber Hospital. It felt really encouraging that he supported us and stayed with us during the hospital stay.

He was quite helpful to us. After that we brought our grandmother to the Bone OPD Center. After examining her the doctor recommended that she be admitted.

In the ward we were assigned bed number 37. The fracture was causing my grandmother a great deal of agony. To make her feel better I gave her a pain reliever. We sat with her while she lay on the bed hoping that she would soon feel better.

She later had blood samples taken for various tests by a nurse. To assess her condition the doctor came back. She felt somewhat better after taking medication.

It was about 1 pm when I ate my lunch. I introduced myself to the patient who was lying on the next bed after lunch. She have a daughter having defect in her foot. Her daughter is about two years.

InshaAllah I will share my 2nd day at hospital soon.The ward was packed the atmosphere was wonderful. Despite our exhaustion we were grateful that she was hospitalized and receiving care.
