Fuel scarcity in my country Nigeria
INTRODUCTION
Hello there people how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day unlike us in Nigeria.
Today I will be sharing with you all the present situation which we Nigerians are all going through which is very much affecting our daily lives and survival.
Waking up today as usual I'd prepared because I had to go to work and when I'd reach the shop there was no fuel so I had to go to the filling station to buy fuel.
As you can see in the above picture I was on my way to the filling station though the price of fuel was a bit high but it was manageable and we were all used to it, yesterday the price of fuel was 550 Naira equivalent to 5.5 steem.
So when I'd first arrived at the filling station I was expecting to buy fuel at the normal price which I'd bought yesterday but to my greatest suprise the price of fuel had changed and it's even worse than before.
As you can see I took a picture of the fuel price in the fuel metre and there you see litres, sales and price per litre Which is 650 naira that is for one litre.
So I had no other option because I had to open the shop so I bought the fuel and the young girl that was selling the fuel keyed in the price which I wanted to buy and it was 3500 naira (35 steem) and she poured it into my rubber and it was like nothing was inside.
As you can see that is the metre after I made the purchase, I paid 3500 naira which is equivalent to 35 steem for fuel which was 650 naira (4.53 steem) a litre and I got just 5.39 litres of fuel which is not even enough.
All pictures shot on my mobile phone Samsung galaxy A53 5G
And if you look very closely at the above picture you will see that the fuel is just half of the ten litres jerry can (rubber) meanwhile I could remember just last year when fuel was sold for 195 naira equivalent to 1.36 steem.
And at that time if you buy fuel with 3500 naira it would be more than 25 litres and life was a lot easier back then, but now I don't know what the world is turning into and why we all have to go through this kind of hardship.
The current price of fuel in Nigeria which is 650 naira (4.53 steem) is the highest ever and so many people has closed down their businesses because of it and lot of public transport drivers has even park their vehicles because there can't keep up with the price.
Pray for Nigeria
Things is really getting out of hand in Nigeria and we definitely need all of your prayers because there is hunger everywhere and the worse part of it is that the newly elected president isn't doing anything about just saying that there is no fuel subsidy.
CONCLUSION
Transportation is very important in our lives because we have to move from one place to another but what happens when fuel price becomes to high at the same time the cost of Transportation
