Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | A day full of so many events outdoors.

On the 25th day of May 2025, I attended two different events and they are known as Deanery Altar Servers Retreat and Mother's day final activity/celebration. It was a very hectic day for me and I didn't really expect to attend the second event but the first event ended earlier than I expected that was why I was capable of attending the second one. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day.

Every Sunday since February 2025, I have been serving the 6am mass in my church's new outstation. I do go there with our Reverend father and Catechist. I always ensure I wake up 4am on Sundays because of the 6am mass. I arrived at the church and then charged my phone because it was very low then I went to the outstation and served mass there. When the mass ended I took my phone in the other church and went home to prepare for the deanery retreat.

After preparing I went to the catholic church that was hosting the altar servers retreat. I was almost late because I got busy with some preparations at home. Alot of altar servers were already on the church praying with their rosary and I made the sign of the cross and joined them. After prayers the Catechist of the church gave a speech and we learnt alot from it. The parish priest which is the altar servers association chaplain, addressed us and we were glad to hear from him.

In the afternoon we started an interactive section with the chaplain and we asked alot of questions with which he answered all of them. I learnt alot from the interactive section and he was willing to assist us with what ever challenge we have. Am still the deanery Provost and I was walking round giving the attendance book to everyone to write their name and the parish they are a member of. We were so delighted to also receive some refreshments after the interactive section.

More than 75 guys attended the meeting. Soft drink and biscuits were shared to everyone that were present including sachet water. Everyone left except the executives and we talked briefly before leaving the church together, that was when I took a picture of the entrance door of the church.

I went to my parish with four of my members that also attended the retreat and we were surprised to see that the mother's day celebration haven't ended.

The women were matching in different groups and some boys playing the drums for them. It was a very delightful moment. Food was shared and I ate rice with my younger brother I met in the church, he was unable to attend the retreat. We also ate cake after eating the food. I charged my phone immediately after I took some pictures of the event and a friend of mine said he wants to post some of them in steemit soon. I left the church when it was about to end, with my younger brother and we went home to relax.

In the evening some visitors were still in our home, my father was hosting a meeting with them and they were about to conclude when we arrived home almost during the evening period that day. Food and drinks were also shared and the visitors were delighted. Is an association for people from Edo/Delta state. They do their meeting every last Sunday of the month and that day was the last Sunday of may 2025.

My younger brother and I were going to return some of the chairs we borrowed from our neighbor and I took a picture of the sky and also some wires connected to ah electric pole. That day was a very hectic day with so much activities and am happy that everything was successful. I didn't even get much time to spend with my phone that day because I was very busy throughout. I got more time for myself in the night.
