I had gone to Valentine to pick up some supplies for the camp. Near the railway station, close to the old hanging site, I noticed a crowd gathering. Curious, I walked over and found out a prostitute who had turned out to be a serial killer was being executed.

Someone told me that Sheriff Malloy had arrested her just a few days ago, and she had confessed to her crimes. That’s when it hit me. She was the same woman who had brutally stabbed a man in the chest in a hotel room. Now, she stood there, screaming over and over that she killed in self-defense. She kept shouting that those men weren’t human but monsters.

I spotted the sheriff holding a paper, speaking loudly so everyone could hear. “This lady here is guilty of multiple murders, and now her judgment day has come.

“No need to wait. Release the floor,” he ordered the executioner. And just like that, she was hanged.

“Justice has prevailed,” a man beside me muttered. But I couldn’t help wondering if she was really guilty or just trying to survive. Either way, there was nothing I could do.

Later, I checked into the Saints Hotel to get some rest. I already had a room booked. After a quick nap, hunger got the better of me, so I stepped out and made my way toward Smithfield’s Saloon.

The place was alive with music and laughter. I spotted Javier at the bar, drinking with Charles and a couple of women. They were having a blast. When he saw me, Javier waved me over like he had struck gold. He wanted me to meet the ladies.

I gave them a polite greeting, but one of them, Anastasia I think, teased me, calling me a mountain man. Her friend joked that I looked more like a pussycat. Javier loved it, of course, and ran with the joke.

Not really in the mood for banter, I sarcastically asked how much they cost. That didn’t land well. Anastasia snapped back, asking if that’s how I talked to a lady. I told her I didn’t realize I was talking to one. That was it. They both stormed off, and Javier just smirked at me like I’d messed things up on purpose. I laughed and called myself a real charmer.

The three of us ordered shots. I asked where Bill was, and Javier just sighed. Bill stumbled in right then, bumping into some guy and instantly squaring up. I leaned over to Charles and asked if Bill was gonna kiss the guy or hit him. Of course, I already knew.

Bill wasted no time. He headbutted the poor guy into a table, and chaos erupted. Bottles shattered, fists flew, and we were in the thick of it before I could even blink. Javier smashed a bottle over someone’s head, Charles broke a chair over a guy’s back, and I took a punch to the face that threw me into the action.

I fought through the madness, dodging chairs and fists, until I finally knocked out the guy attacking me. That’s when Tommy, a big guy from upstairs, came down. The bartender pleaded with him to stay out of it, but Tommy ignored him. He locked eyes with Javier and went straight for him.

Bill shouted, “Go help him, Morgan!” So, I ran in. “Hey, tough guy,” I yelled and punched Tommy in the face. He hit back hard, then picked me up and threw me across the room. I crashed into a table, then got up, just to be thrown again, this time through the saloon window.

I landed outside, face down in the mud, soaked and sore. But I wasn’t done. Tommy followed, calling me “pretty boy.”

“Pretty boy?” I muttered, wiping blood off my chin. “You gotta be kidding.”

A crowd had gathered, cheering like it was some kind of show. Tommy kept taunting me, and I told him to bring it on. We traded blows, slipping in the mud, the crowd roaring around us. The barber, the doctor, even the hotel clerk had something to yell.

Tommy called me slow. I told him he was slower than he looked. We kept swinging until he landed a brutal hit that knocked me down. He tried to pin me, but I broke free, spat blood, and growled, “You must be the village idiot. Try that again.”

The crowd roared louder. Tommy tried to slam me down again, but this time I kicked him in the gut and knocked him over. I jumped on him, pounding his face over and over.

Then a voice cut through the noise. “Stop that! Please, I beg you.” Some guy tried to pull me back, saying I’d already won. I paused, breathing hard, fists dripping with blood and mud. I stared at Tommy, who wasn’t moving.

I walked off and somehow made it to the general store porch, trying to catch my breath.

That’s when I heard a familiar voice.

“Making new friends again, Arthur?”

I looked up. It was Trelawny, standing with Dutch.

I told Trelawny I thought he’d gone to New York. He joked he wouldn’t miss the glamour. We walked together through the street. I asked how he was. He said he’d gone to Blackwater looking for us, said we weren’t too welcome there.

Trelawny said it was Dutch they were really after. Dutch told Charles to scout ahead and take Javier. Before leaving, Dutch told me to clean up and catch up when ready. I found a barrel and washed off the mud then I went back to the hotel, took a bath. I was still sore.

Outside, I saw the man who stopped the fight earlier. Now he was collecting charity money. He looked nervous when he saw me. Asked me not to cause more trouble. I told him to stay out of my business and never interfere with my personal matters. He backed off and started coughing hard. Didn’t stop. He might have been sick.

Disclaimer

Arthur Morgan and the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 might be fictional creations by Rockstar Games, but my love for this game? 100% real. This is a new kind of adventure I wanted to bring to Steemit. I’m narrating the story of RDR2 from the perspective of its protagonist, Arthur Morgan, offering a fresh and immersive take on his journey. Rather than directly copying the game’s dialogues, I’m weaving Arthur’s emotions and experiences into a creative and fictional retelling. You can also experience this story in a cinematic way. I play the game, record my gameplay, edit the footage in the best possible way, and upload it to my YouTube channel. This way, after reading each story episode, you can watch it unfold like a movie.

There was a wonderful and heart -touching story. The style of Arsar Morgan's style has resurrected everything in front of the eyes. The way you put emotions, anxiety and environment into words is really commendable. Every scene contained a mirror of sensation and reality, especially the fighting scene was very interesting. This series is certainly a gift to the Red Dead Redmpation 2 fans. Your style of writing is very strong and impressive. Waiting for more episodes.

I write 1 or 2 episodes per week, as it takes a lot of time to play the game, record the video, edit it, upload it to YouTube, create a thumbnail, write a post on Steemit, and so on...

In the meantime, you can read the previous episodes by clicking the hashtag #waqarwritesmorgan and changing the filter from trending to new.

PS: Don't forget to watch the video linked in each episode!

Okay, I am sure you will be tagged in the next parts. Right, brother @waqarahmadshah?

I think that if you tag too many people in a single post, then no one receives the notification, though I'm not sure what the limit is...

Your story is so vivid and dramatic! You have beautifully portrayed the character of Arthur Morgan and the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. The dialogue, action scenes, and moral dilemmas are especially amazing.
