To run or not to run?

 

It is autumn, somehow we have many different marathons, some of them short distances, some long and often there are many people taking part. I remember that once I was helping there, just at stand and was spreading water bottles for the runners and also some energy snacks, usually there are some bananas because it is easy to eat them they are soft and you do not need to chew them so often. There are also some dextrose tablets, in the past I was wondering why they are there, but when I started to take part in such organisation of marathon, I noticed that there some people who suffer from diabetes, they also want to run. Understandably they do not run a long distance and not often come first but they like to be there and to subscribe for running in order to support the charities.

When I see these people I always feel jealous because I also would love to take part but for that you need to be prepared and do regular jogging in order to have a correct breathing technique. I was told so many time how it is and what to do but I think I am too lazy. At present I am happy to support the others with organising everything for run but who knows in the future I may decide to try. I think the first thing that I need to do is to have a discipline and do jogging regular at least couple of times a week and maybe on treadmill, because then I do not need to run so far and after there is always a warm shower and some drink.
