Happy 127th Independence Day!

Hello, friends! I hope you are well and happy today. As for me I am doing fine especially that we have a national holiday today in celebrating the 127th independence day.

Well, it's just like any typical day I have, going to work as usual but the exception is that we will be paid 200% lf our salary. Who would not want that when all I do at home is sit and do the laundry, right?

Anyway this will be my entry to@artist1111 steemit talent hunt.

I realized that I had to do something special toda and I decided to draw our national flag with red and blue ballpen and a highlighter on a small piece of paper. These are jsut the materials I had in the office; though I had a pencil with me, I did not see it necessary because of its color.

To behin with, I draw using a red ballpen , I made line wirh a curve indicating that the flag was blown by a wind midway in the air.

I followed the line using the blue ballpen and formed a triangele space where the stars and sun would be.

Content wirh my work, a proceed to make the stars and the sun. The three stars represent theee major islans in the Philippines namely Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. There were 8 rays of the sun which resembles 8 provinces that rebelled against the spanish colonial revolution namely Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Batangas, Laguna, Tarlac and Neuva Ecija.

I also had to do this piece of art to show my gratitude tothe ones that fell during thr revolution in the hope to gain our freedom which many Filipinos enjoyed until this day.

Though the politics were very noisy these days, I still hope that what the heroes had worked hard on still goes today.

Anyway it's a very long day today, I worked on the minutes of meeting we had last week and my handwriting confuses me. Good thing I had some recorded clips to help me with doing my job.
