Let's Celebrate International Beer Day

It's a pleasure to participate in 2025 Beer celebration contest. Beer is not just everyone’s favorite drink due to high risk when taken in excess. Although, it can be less harmful when consumed in small amounts.

Using the contest tips as guidelines, I will present my points of view;

Question 1: Tell us a little about the most popular place in your city to enjoy this popular drink

There are many places to enjoy beer in my city; we have various bars and lounges for those who enjoys nightlife ( although these venues can be open during the day).

The most talked about place to enjoy beer in my city is Beer Barn; a lively place where people relax, drink and have amazing fun with other activities.

Question 2: What drink could replace beer for you at a gathering or celebration?

I have two types of drink that could replace beer for me at gathering and celebration but this depends on the type of event. If I'm attending get together, white wedding or birthday celebration, I prefer to replace beer with malt drink.

If I'm attending traditional marriage or something that has to do traditional festival I prefer fresh palm wine for replacement.

Question 3: If you drink beer, how much do you consume on average at a celebration? What’s the price of beer in your local currency and Steem?

I can only consume half of beer bottle (that should be one glass) or if it’s in can, one is enough. Beer is no way close to being my favorite drink, from the first day I tasted it, I never liked it that much.

We have different types of beer here like; Star, Heineken, 33 export, Hero, Trophy, Life, Gulder e.t c and their prices differs. However, you can purchase one bottle or in can as low as #800 (4 steem) to #1,500 ( 7.5 steem).

Question 4: Mention the most popular brand of beer in your country?

Beers has been the most consumed alcoholic drink in my country and different brands has top the chart for years now. I know of 10 most popular here and I will also mentioned the most consumed which I consider to be top one.
