HOW I PREPARED VEGETABLE SAUCE WITH COCOYAM.

Vegetable sauce with cocoyam is a meal eaten by most Africans especially the veggies.
Vegetables play a crucial role in human nutrition by providing essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber.
They contribute to overall health by supporting various bodily functions and helping to prevent chronic diseases.

And the cocoyam is rich in vitamins C and antioxidants, which also plays a crucial role in strengthening the immune system and protecting against illnesses.

When I was still staying with my parents by that time I was not married yet my mom would always take me to the market with her whenever am back from school on holidays
My mom will tell me I want you to learn ooo so when you get married you will know the difference between white cocoyam and yellow cocoyam.
I really missed her cooking so much.

So I started by boiling the cocoyam and made the vegetable sauce to go with it since I don't like cocoyam I had to boil plantain for myself.

Ingredients
. Cocoyam ( White)
. Pepper
. Crayfish
. Vegetable
. Onions
. Seasoning

I washed thoroughly the vegetable and sliced it.

Then I peel my cocoyam and put it in a pot to boil and my plantain.

I cooked my vegetable to be a little tender before consumption.

I placed my pot on fire then added oil to it,I heated the palm oil to be very hot before adding other ingredients.

I added onions, crayfish, pepper and seasoning at this point to it.

I added vegetables to it and tasted my meal it was so good.

My husband prepared the vegetable sauce and I boiled the cocoyam he said he wants to prepare the sauce the way his late mom taught him how to do it.

The vegetable sauce can be used with rice,yam or plantain.
