☕ International Coffee Day – My Love Story with Coffee

For me, every day begins with the scent of coffee wafting throughout the house. This is a very important ritual. The aroma of coffee awakens the senses and evokes a sense of home, tradition, and small moments that give rhythm and warmth to everyday life. For me, at least, coffee isn't just a simple drink; it's a gesture, a ritual, a form of connection with oneself and with others.

In Italy, coffee is an integral part of our culture; there probably isn't a bar or home where there isn't a moka pot ready to prepare the next cup.
And even though my country doesn't grow coffee, although some experiments began a few years ago (though the current climate doesn't allow it), we must say we are masters in the art of roasting and brewing. In fact, we import the best Arabica and Robusta beans from countries like Brazil, Colombia, and Ethiopia, which are transformed into unique blends recognized worldwide.

In fact, the best-known Italian brands in the world are Lavazza, Illy, Kimbo, Segafredo and Borbone. Currently the price of a kg of good coffee varies from 15 to €25 depending of course on the quality and type of roasting but as every true Italian knows it is not so much the price that counts but the moment in which you drink it.
My favorite type of coffee is undoubtedly Espresso but long, let's say the one made in the morning with the moka, it absolutely cannot be missed because it gives me the strength and energy to start the day in the best way,
I really love making it with a moka pot and hearing the bubbling sound that announces its arrival, while in the summer I love a cold shaken coffee: espresso, ice, and a touch of sugar, vigorously shaken to create that light foam that makes it irresistible.
This time, on the occasion of International Coffee Day, I want to choose a new blend and savor this coffee slowly, allowing me to pause for a moment to reflect and be grateful for the conversations that a simple coffee has brought about in my life. If we think about it, it was over a coffee that we perhaps made our best deal, or met important people. There's always something special behind this ritual.
Coffee, after all, is a universal language and always will be. It's the symbol of friendship, creativity, and the energy that drives us to share stories and dreams. Let's raise a glass together to this extraordinary beverage that unites people, cultures, and generations. It was great to participate in this contest, see you next time!

Para brindar, en Venezuela decimos ¡Salud! .
