"Recipe of the Day, Week 79: (Srilankan Milk Rice)"

Kiribath
Kiribath, another major national dish of Sri Lanka, can be said to be a divine food that our ancestors have bestowed upon us to protect the health of future generations.
Sri Lankans consider Kiribath to be a symbol of prosperity. At the beginning of any auspicious event, they start their work by making and eating Kiribath. This is truly a healthy and nutritious food.
INGREDIENT
- White Raw rice - 400g
- Cups of condensed coconut milk - 03
- Salt - 02 teaspoons
- Cups of water - 03
Method
First, wash the white raw rice well and put it in the rice cooker.
Then add water until the rice is covered and cook this raw rice as usual.
Once the rice is cooked, transfer this rice to another bowl and add coconut milk to it.
Then add a little salt to it.
Then stir occasionally on low heat until it thickens.
After about 20 minutes, all the milk will evaporate and the milk will mix. Then remove from the stove.Now dilute this milk rice on a plate or tray and cut into pieces as you like.
