Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup

Today I am sharing a very beautiful recipe by participating in this competition.We all like tomato ketchup more or less.Or any fried food tastes better with a little tomato ketchup. I have made homemade tomato ketchup several times before.It really works. In our country, when it is tomato season, i.e. in winter, its price is comparatively low. Then we make this tomato ketchup and store it for the whole year.

Prepare Homemade Herbal Ketchup with Garlic. Share complete step by step process. At the end share the handwritten username and date with Ketchup.

Step - 1

First, I washed the tomatoes with clean water and chopped them into small pieces. Then I put the tomatoes in a pan and put them in the oven.

Now I added a few cloves of garlic. Then I added enough water to cook the tomatoes.

Now I will boil the tomatoes. I will have to stir them occasionally or the tomatoes will burn.Once cooked, remove from the stove and let cool.

Now, I heated a sufficient amount of oil in a pan and fried the dried chilies.I used dried chilies in this tomato curry because I really like the flavor of dried chilies. Roasting dried chilies gives them a very nice flavor.

Once the peppers were roasted, I ground them into powder.

In the meantime, I cooled the tomatoes and then blended them. Since I boiled it, it won't take long to blend. They blend nicely within 2-3 minutes.

Now I strain the tomato ketchup through a sieve. This will separate the tomato seeds and skins.Only the tomato part will remain here.

It will look fresh like this after separating the peel and seeds.

Now put it back in the oven. Then add the required amount of sugar and salt. Here I used beet salt.

Then I added a generous amount of vinegar and powdered dried chilies.

Last Step

Since I used dried chili powder, some of it remained in the ketchup.To make the ketchup even fresher, I strained it again to separate the dried chili pieces.This is how the tomato ketchup was ready.

Did you face any difficulty in the preparation of the ketchup at home?

Not at all. I didn't face any difficulty in making this recipe. The recipe is very easy to make. Anyone can easily make the recipe by following each step. Even if someone tries it for the first time, they can easily make it. However, the professor used grape vinegar here. However, I had white vinegar at home, which caused some problems. But I don't think there should be much of a problem in this case. Apart from that, I haven't had to face any other difficulties.

What do you say about the taste and freshness of the homemade ketchup which you have prepared as compared to the market ketchup?

Homemade ketchup is much, much better than the tomato ketchup available in the market. Because we don't even know how healthy the foods we buy from outside are made.Or there is also a doubt as to whether it is made entirely from tomatoes. And of course they use different types of formalin to make them. However, we can make it ourselves in a healthy way at home, so of course it will taste better.And the freshness of homemade tomato ketchup is incomparable to that of market-bought ones.Homemade ketchup is definitely much fresher than the ones from the market.
