SLC26-W5 // "Fried Appetizers"
It's week 5 already and we are learning about fried appetizers specifically Samosa , I'm overwhelmed knowing I'm not left out in acquiring this everlasting knowledge . Let me take you to my practical job that I did .
What do you understand by Fried Appetizers?(1 mark )
Just as the name sounds, it is those yummy snacks that is prepared using our cooking oils to make it fluffy or golden brown depending on how we want it. And boom it's ready to be served as a starter food. Do you know what? Fried appetizers are very attractive that makes it difficult for people to say No . It is well accepted by many especially the little ones.
Make any one fried appetizer from given recipes in detailstep by step withpictures . You can add filling or ingredients of your choice too . (7 marks)

Dough Making
I Mixed all my ingredients with flour making sure everything is well mixed , after I mixed all the ingredients I noticed it was not kneedable then I added little water as instructed by our teacher to make it dough,
Afterwards, I kneed the dough well, smoothen and rest it for 30 minutes to settle.
At this time my dough was resting I proceeded to making the filling.

Preparation
My cooking oil in a pan and fry beef mince until it changes color, I added all spices in it and fry for few minutes, Cook it for 6 minutes on low flame. My chopped onion was added in it and cover the lid and cook it for 3-4 minutes more.
Filling is ready.
Making of Samosa
After rolling the dough I cut into squares , put my beaf filling ,I folded it and then used my fork to design my Samosa .
Then fry on a low flame untill golden brown.
