My taste for: Salads

Salads are a simple source of natural nutrients, which are rich in minerals, vitamins, protein, fat, etc, which are very essential for our body and health.

🥗 How often do you eat salad?

Honestly, I enjoy eating salad a lot, especially the way it looks fresh when well prepared, although I eat it just quite often, like to say 60% of the time i'm fortunate to taste something light and natural.

I always feel comfortable eating it, knowing so well that I'm eating something healthy, it's like having a taste of nature.


🥗 Do you like raw or cooked salads?

I enjoy both raw and cooked salads, depending on the condition I find myself in at the moment.

Especially when the weather feels cold, I will go for a warm and soft vegetable salad.

On a normal day, I take nothing less than a raw mix creamy and crunchy salad.


🥗 What is your favorite salad dressing?

Well, I don't like much that stuff, just something that gives me an exciting bite. My favorite salad dressing is just a simple mixture of honey and, most times, lemon juice, which gives it a sweet taste.


🥗 Are there any traditional ingredients you don't like adding to salads?

Actually, yes, the ingredients I often eliminate from my salad are cucumbers, because I'm allergic to them.

Though most people enjoy it a lot in their salad, mine is different, and I even enjoy it so much without it.


🥗 Do you usually eat salads as a main dish or as a side dish?

I barely eat salad as my main dish rather, I eat it as a side dish. I enjoy eating it with other meals.
Like I enjoy it so much with fried rice, grilled fried meat or other toasted foods.

I may only enjoy it as a main dish if I add things like eggs or chicken.


🥗 Describe your favorite salad recipe, including ingredients and preparation instructions.

My favorite salad recipe is a lovely and simple one. I will gather ingredients like lettuce, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, etc. I will then slice and grate them based on normal methods of preparation, most times I do add shredded chicken.

I make the dressing in such a palatable way, mixing with honey and often lemon juice, and sometimes a very little salt. Then I will toast everything together, then my salad is ready.

I may decide to keep it a little in the fridge, if I want to serve it chilled.


When I feel like taking something fresher and having a taste of nature, salad is the best option.
