I am starting by wishing all my steemit friends good health. I often participate in the steemit iron Chef community's great recipe contest. I really like participating in this contest. Through this contest I can share my cooking talent with everyone. So today I will share another new recipe of mine with you through this contest. So let's get started.


Semai Recipe 😋


A sweet dish. However, this dish is prepared in various ways when guests come to the house and on religious occasions such as Eid etc. This recipe is prepared in various ways. So it is a very delicious and traditional dish for us Bengalis. There are two Eids in a year for Muslims and this dish is prepared in every Muslim house in the morning on the day of Eid. Very few ingredients are required to make this recipe.

However, what I need to share this recipe is given below.

Required ingredients:

Milk | 1 kg
Gurad milk | Three tablespoons
Lachcha semai | One packet
Sugar | Two and a half hundred grams
Cinnamon | A few pieces
Bay leaves | Three to four
Salt | As much as you like
Raisins | 10-12

Preparation method,

  • First step: First, I will pour the liquid cow's milk into a clean container. I have cooked semai in a rice cooker here, so I will pour the milk into the cooker.

  • Second step: Now I will mix the powdered milk with the liquid milk.
    (Powdered milk is optional, you can leave it out if you want because cow's milk semai is also very tasty.)

  • Third step: Now I will strain the milk well for 20 to 25 minutes on low heat. Of course, you have to stir it repeatedly with a spoon, otherwise the milk may fall out.

  • Fourth step: Then add bay leaves, cinnamon and salt to taste.

  • Fifth step: Now when the milk boils well or becomes thick, add sugar and some raisins and stir for a while.

  • Sixth step: Now when it is done, remove it from the stove and cool 3/4 of the hot milk.

  • Seventh step: Now pour the milk into another bowl and add laccha semai. Then I will add some raisins to decorate it on top.

  • Finally, see my recipe, the recipe is finished, now I will take a selfie with my recipe.

Semai is prepared in many ways by many people but it is prepared in a simple way and with few ingredients. However, its taste is very delicious and a very unique recipe. Anyone can make this recipe very quickly and easily and entertain their family, children and relatives. This was my presentation today.
