A great contest is regularly organized in the Steemit Iron Chef community with recipes. I try to participate almost regularly. Today I will also participate in this contest with one of my amazing recipes. So let's get started.


Cow's Stomach Fry

A traditional dish of our country is Cow's Stomach Bhaji. It is customary to eat this cow's stomach in almost all areas of our Bangladesh. Especially during the Eid of Qurbani, when a cow is sacrificed, women are very happy to clean this cow's stomach and prepare a recipe for eating it. However, we also had cow's stomach at home, so I made this recipe today.

What I needed to make this recipe is given below.

Ingredients required:

Preparation method:

  • First step: First, peel the potatoes and onions, wash them, and cut them.

  • Second step: Now put a pot on the stove and add a little oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped onion, stir for a while, and add the bay leaves.

  • Third step: Now add a little water and add turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, garam masala powder, cumin powder. Then cook for a while.

  • Fourth step: Once the spices are cooked, add the beef tripe and a little water.

  • Fifth step: Once the beef tripe is half cooked, add ginger paste and garlic paste. Stir for a while and cook well.

  • Sixth step: Once it is cooked, add a little water and after a while add the potatoes. Of course, you have to stir it with a spoon every now and then, otherwise it will burn on its own.

  • Seventh step: Now cover it and cook on low heat for a while. Then stir and cook until the water dries up. Shortly before the recipe is ready, I will add cumin powder and stir for a while longer.

Once done, remove it from the stove and decorate it beautifully and serve.

This recipe is very delicious to eat. However, cleaning the beef gizzard is a bit of a hassle. If you clean it technically according to the rules, it becomes easy. The Bengalis or Bengali girls of our country are very expert in doing this work and are also very expert in making this recipe. Everyone, young and old, likes to eat this recipe very much. I really like the recipe.
