Do you consider yourself a soup lover? On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you like it?

I am soup lover and I also love to cook soup. It is something that can be quickly and easily prepared but also there are so many different variety of different soups that I can imagine that we could cook soups every day and it will not be boring.

From the scale 1 to 10, I definitely will give a mark 10 for soups!

Do you prefer it prepared on the stovetop or on the stove? Tell us your reasons.

I prefer to cook soup in a cook pot and not in oven. It is a standard way how I learnt cooking from my mother and grandmother. I love the smell of cooking meat and also once you start adding some vegetables the nice smell is spread throughout the kitchen. I remember the feeling of immediately getting hungry when you smell soup.

What is your favorite soup? (For example: chicken, ribs, fish, mixed vegetables, among others...)

My favourite soup is fish soup and it is the way how my grandmother likes to cook it. When I was young I loved visiting my grandparents. My grandfather often went fishing and we had fresh fish. My grandmother always was telling that fish taste you can not spoil with different vegetables and it is only onion and potato is allowed. From spices only some salt and black pepper that is must for this soup. It is very simple but it is very delicious.

At what event, celebration, or circumstance is soup a MUST-HAVE...!!!

I do not think that soups dedicated for any celebration of big event. For me soup is for something among family, like after arriving home after trip and being tired, just something very quick and delicious. Also if someone is ill and having cold or temperature then soups are the best remedy, because it is easy to digest and also has everything our body need without hard working.

With or without lemon? Tell us your reasons.

I never have lemon when I eat or prepare soups, I even can not imagine how this combination should taste. I can imagine that when I cook fish, especially when I fry fish then lemon is must but otherwise soup and lemon combination is not in my menu.

Tell us the vegetable that can't be missing and which one you don't like?

From all the vegetables onion that is something that should not miss. I remember once when I was cooking and forgot onion, but I had many other different vegetables including potatoes, carrots, red pepper but even then it was absolutely disgusting taste, I actually needed to throw it away.

*** Describe your ideal soup.***

My ideal soup is Fish soup and here are what you need. Important thing is fish, I usually cut it in small pieces and after washing put in pot and bring it to boiling. Understandably I add some salt and the next let is cook for 30 min. Then I add one onion and 3 potatoes and that is all I cook it for 15 min and then it is ready. I serve it with black pepper.
