Millwood Town Hall will feel different on June 10, 2025. A strong feeling of thanks will fill the air. We are gathering to celebrate Guru Purnima. This special night will be full of songs and peace.

The old hall will become a lively place. We will show respect for our teachers. We will also remember them. It was a rainy evening but enthusiasm was at peak!

Think of the big hall. Warm lights and bright cloths will dress it up. Hundreds of people will soon arrive. The stage usually holds speeches. This night, it will be a place for music.





Starting at 6 PM, the hall was filled with traditional songs. Local and visiting artists were to play them. Flutes were there to make complex sounds.

Tablas will keep a steady beat. Harmoniums will add to the feeling. Singers will lead everyone in bhajans and kirtans. They honored the long line of gurus.

It won't just be old songs. Look for a mix of music. Maybe ancient chants will meet new sounds. A youth choir might sing a modern tribute. This evening is more than just fun. It will lift your mood.
