When Last did You Say Hello to Your Friend?

True friendship is beyond just hanging out and having fun time together. A friend is someone who you can confide in, someone who you feel safe around and someone you trust.

Using the contest tips as guidelines, I will be sharing my thoughts on friendship;

Question 1: Who's your friend?and Why do you choose him/her to be your friend

Honestly, I have more than one friend and each of them plays their unique roles in my life. But for the purpose of this contest, I would love to talk about one of them which is Victoria.

Victoria has a lot of great personality that anyone would want to be her friend. Our first encounter connected us together.
I chose her because few of our personalities align perfectly from the first time I met her. She’s just a true definition of what a true friend can be.

Question 2: How do you feel when you don't hear from your friend?

It is surprising that I haven’t seen her for years now but we still connect with each other like it’s just yesterday. whenever I don’t get to hear from her, I get very worried and want to know what’s wrong with her. She does same too and everything is mutual. Sometimes, we both understands that facing adulthood is not an easy journey so we check up on each other when chance comes.

Question 3: What are the qualities you look at before calling someone your friend?

I am very selective when it comes to making friends, I look out to many things. My spirit needs to align first before I can consider or welcome you to my corner. I also look out for trust; although it takes a lot of time for me to be able to trust someone because humans of nowadays can act really cringe

Honesty is very important too, before you can be called my friend, you must be genuinely honest with me and be open to correct me when I’m wrong. I don’t like friends that pampers people’s egos to make them feel good.

Question 4: Appreciate your friend with some pleasant words.

Dear Vee, thank you for always giving me a shoulder to lean on when I'm weak, I really appreciate your effort in trying to help, check up and be present for our friendship. I love the fact that you are true to this friendship and I'll never take it for granted. Sending love from here!
