Who is a landlord?

A landlord is a person who owns and maintains property. A landlord is a person who rents out a house in exchange for rent. One who operates as a business. The tenant has an obligation to pay rent within a specified period. I have not seen any honest landlord in Dhaka city for about 15 years. I know they rent houses, but their behavior is not that good. But I will not call all landlords bad. The main thing is that the person who rents out a house and earns income from the rent is called a landlord.

How long have you stayed in someone's house? Was the place favorable, or did you manage?

I have been living in Dhaka city for many years, and I live in a rented house. Of all the places I have rented so far, I have lived in a house the longest. My family was small, so a one-room or two-room house was better. I got a flat that I liked, a big room, a small dining room with an att and a balcony. I liked this small flat. After staying for a few months, I understood the character of the landlord. What kind of person was he? I have never seen such a bad person as this landlord. I lived in this house for 7 years because I liked the flat. I have never lived in any house for so many years. The landlord is a bad person, let alone a bad manager; I would have had a lot of trouble living there. Finally, I left that house.

Do you think it's wise to stay in the same compound with your landlord?

In my opinion, one should not live in the same compound with a landlord, because if one lives in the same house with the landlord, there will be no privacy, and one will have to face various problems. Because the landlords always keep the tenant under surveillance and order them to follow various rules and regulations. You can't always agree to something, but you have to listen to the landlord. I currently live with a landlord. So I understand what fun it is to live together, and what would have happened if we lived in the same house. In my opinion, no tenant would get along with a landlord.

Do you think the tenant has the right to sue the landlord over negligence of his responsibilities?

In the current context, anyone can file a case. However, a case can be filed for negligence of duty, but this case has no importance. If the person who neglects his duty is informed about this matter, then if he performs his duty properly, there is no problem. The tenant does not have the right to sue the landlord for neglect of his duties. If the landlord unnecessarily annoys the tenant or asks him to leave the house at an untimely time, the tenant has the right to sue.
