I have brought a review of a cutting-fitting shop inside Kalu Gazi Super Market in Kalampur Bazar.

Since I live near Kalampur Bazar, that is, I stay in my company’s quarters, from there with a fare of ten taka one can go to Kalampur Bazar. The distance is at most two kilometers.

This market is mainly two-storied. On the first floor, there are various types of shops: clothing shops, shoe shops, computer shops, mobile shops, cosmetics shops, book shops.

That is why, to identify or find his shop, he has highlighted it in front of this staircase. One of the main reasons is that very few people go upstairs to the second floor, so leaflets are put up like this.

After going up the stairs, you will see such a handwritten signboard on the second floor. In his shop, not only is his work cutting-fitting, but he has also set up a small clothing shop. However, he has decorated the shop quite beautifully, and the shop has a good collection of clothes.

Generally, we usually understand cutting-fitting to mean boys’ clothes like pants, shirts, t-shirts, panjabis, etc., but not only for boys, he also does cutting-fitting for all types of girls’ clothing.

I searched for this shop a lot but could not find it in this market. After asking a few people, they gave me this location. Just like there is a shop only for cutting-fitting, there is also a shop for ironing. While searching for ironing, I had to roam in several places, then finally found the location of that shop.

First, I talked to him to cut this pant of mine, meaning the length of my pant was too long. Two to two and a half inches had to be cut and then stitched. Then I asked how much the wage would be. After talking with him, I came to know the wage.

Then he measured the pant and with his scissors cut as much as needed. When he was cutting and later sitting for stitching the fitting, I was talking with him on various topics like how much he is currently earning from his shop.

Since his shop is on the second floor, his income, that is clothing sales, is comparatively low, but Alhamdulillah good—he said. But for clothing cutting-fitting, people come to him here. Since I am alone in the market, you can understand the situation.

As I tried to bring a video for you, I said to him while talking, “Uncle, I’m making a little video.” He replied, “Okay, no problem.”

Because many people take things differently, that’s why I first spoke to him to avoid any problem. With permission, everything is applicable. Without permission, it may be considered an offense. So, these are things we should keep in mind.

If you notice, in his shop, on one side, you will see boys’ clothes and on the other side, girls’ clothes are hanging. So that customers can easily buy or choose their favorite clothes among different designs. However, on both sides, girls’ clothes are more, boys’ clothes are comparatively less, that’s all.

Not only in this shop, but you will also see in almost every shop that they showcase their beauty with different types of collections to attract customers.

Since he was working, I did not talk much with him. I went with my office colleague, his name is Farhan Nadim. I talked with Farhan Bhai for quite some time, and he also had some work for which we would go after finishing this work.

Finally, after fitting, I wore the pant and checked whether everything was fine. Yes, Alhamdulillah, everything was done properly.

However, he stitched the pant the way trousers are stitched, not exactly like pants. Anyway, I took pictures, but at that moment, it didn’t occur to me to show the length in the picture, that is, to capture up to my feet.

Anyway, in that context, I presented another picture of this fitted pant. But I think, if you ever come here, it is better not to do it here, because the amount charged in good places is the same here. So, better to do it from a good place.

However, for those who live nearby, or as our market is so close, our representatives come here. But if I had gone to Nabinagar or Savar, I could have definitely done it from a better place. But that time I didn’t have much time, I had to get it done quickly.

Still, his conversation and behavior are very good. I told him we came from Protikh Ceramics. Then he recognized us. He said, “Oh, you people! Many from your office come here.” Then I said, “Oh, that’s good.”
