Meetup with steemian @jahidul21 brother after a long time.

Steemian Friends,
It’s been a long time since I met my elder brother. The last time we met was when he came home during our time in this industry. After almost a year, I finally met him again.

I first met him while working at Star Porcelain Ltd. Later, I changed my job, and my brother left his due to health issues. The company’s situation wasn’t great either — many had left around that time. Anyway, these are internal matters, better left unsaid.

I came here for a viva (job interview). Since my brother lives nearby, I contacted him, and he told me to meet around 2 PM, after finishing some work.

Meanwhile, I had lunch at a hotel and rested for a while in my friend’s room. After some time, my brother called, “Jakaria, where are you?” I replied, “I’m at my friend’s place near the entrance of Akij Ceramics.”

When he arrived at the stand, he called again saying, “Come, I’m here now.” I said, “Brother, you’re late!” He replied, “It was raining in our area.” I was surprised — because where I was, the sun was blazing! You can even see the sunlight in the photos I’ve shared. Interestingly, his home and my location are just a 10-taka auto-rickshaw ride apart — barely 10 minutes away. Truly, Allah’s wonders are beyond comprehension.

You might even notice how, in one place, there’s bright sunlight, while just nearby, it’s cloudy — all within your sight!

I was overjoyed to finally meet my brother after such a long time. As I arrived by car, I told him to wait where he was standing. When I got down, I said, “Brother, look! I’m here.”

He exclaimed, “Hey, who’s this?” — and smiled brightly. I was equally surprised to see him — he looked quite different! His health had improved a lot, he seemed stronger and healthier than before.

I joked, “Brother, what’s going on? Do you just stay home eating chicken all day? You’ve gained weight!” Then I added, “Anyway, good health is a blessing from Allah. But you should start controlling it now — being overweight can cause problems later. It’s not always a good thing! 😉”

We sat down at a nearby hotel. Since both of us had already eaten lunch, we just grabbed two cold Speed drinks. In this scorching heat, that chilled drink felt so refreshing! You can see in the photo how condensation formed on the bottles — proof of how cold they were.

It looked great, so I took a picture to share with you all. As we sipped our drinks, we had a long conversation. The first topic, of course, was this platform — Steemit.

I asked, “How’s your work on Steemit going? I couldn’t stay active for a while due to some issues, but now I’m back. Haven’t seen you around lately — what’s the reason?”

He replied, “I’m not working in a job now, but I stay busy at home. I manage our fish farm, cow farm, and broiler chicken farm — everything needs my attention. My father also stays with me, and we have several workers to manage.”

We also talked about various other topics, including our professional lives. Since I came here for an interview, meeting my brother turned the day into something even more meaningful.
