Contest Alert : My steemit success story.
Hi steemit Fam! Happy new week
I hope this new week brings you peace, clarity, and the courage to keep showing up for yourself. Today,I want to share a deeper part of my journey not just how I found steemit, but how it found me when I needed it the most.
I first heard about steemit through a friend,@davidmarkgeorge. At the time,I wasn't doing much with my free time. I was mostly scrolling through TikTok, watching random stuff on Facebook, just wasting my time. I didn't have a real focus or anything meaningful going on. But joining steemit changed a lot for me.
I won't lie,at first I didn't really understand how the platform worked. But as time went on, I started finding my space. I began writing from the heart, joining contests, learning new things, and gradually becoming more confident in expressing myself. One thing I love about steemit is that YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO BE HEARD, JUST BE REAL.
Speaking of earnings, even though I haven't made millions 😂. Steemit has still helped me in real ways. I've used it to sort out small school bills. But beyond money, I've gained confidence, learned how to write better, and connected with people who inspire me. That alone is a big win.
But what happened after the "big win"?
That's where the real story begins. I started realizing that this platform was building something in me. Not just content, but character. I was learning to be consistent,to be creative even when I wasn't feeling . And to show up with my truth.
I stopped comparing myself to others and began focusing on what I had to say. I understood that every voice matters. Even mine.
From someone who was wasting time on social media, I become someone who now looks forward to posting something meaningful. Even on days when life feels overwhelming, just writing helps me breathe.
I also realized that blogging wasn't just about sharing, it's about documenting your journey. One day, I'll look back and see how far I've come. And steemit will always be part of that story.
1 How did you discover steemit?
I first heard about steemit through a friend,@davidmarkgeorge. At the time,I wasn't doing much with my free time mostly scrolling through TikTok and watching Facebook, just wasting time. Joining steemit changed a lot for me.
2 Do you take steemit as a full time work or do you blog anytime you have a chance?
I don't post every day because I'm a student and sometimes life gets busy. I blog whenever I have the chance, and I make sure to put real thought into what I share.
3 What are the things you have achieved with Steemit earnings?
With my Steemit earnings, I've been able to pay some school bills and cover small expenses. But more than money, Steemit has helped me grow my confidence and find a passion for writing.
4 Is Steemit meeting your expectations or is there something they need to do?
Steemit is meeting my expectations in many ways, especially as a space to express myself and connect with others.
However,I think bringing back more contest topics like before would keep things exciting and encourage more participation.
5 How can you convince someone to join Steemit without too much explanation?
I'd simply show them how it works and tell them it's a place where real people share their stories and get rewarded for being themselves. That alone is enough reason to join.
6 Show your gratitude to Steemit in a few words.
So once again, thank you steemit for giving people like me a platform to be seen and heard. It might not be a perfect journey, but it's been worth it. I'm excited for what ahead.
Thank you for reading!
