Self-criticism is important, not criticism of others.

Hello Everyone I Am @MEMAMUN 👳‍♀️ From #Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Criticism is an extremely important issue. There are two types here: one is criticizing others and the other is self-criticism. In Islamic terminology, if we say criticizing others, then it is considered Haram (forbidden). If criticizing a Muslim causes them pain or hurts their feelings, then it is Haram. However, there are some critiques that honor the person. But even more important is self-criticism.

Our masters and teachers have taught us why self-criticism is so important. Criticizing others is much worse for us. When we point a finger at someone else and indicate them, the other fingers are pointing back at us. This indicates that before governing others, we should first govern ourselves. We criticize others but do not critique ourselves.

At the end of the day when night falls, we reflect on ourselves. We must think about what I have done all day, what I have achieved, and how many mistakes I have made. Then our self-criticism will be successful, and we will understand what mistakes we made today and what good things we did. When we stand in front of the mirror, we will see ourselves reflected in the mirror.

I will be able to see myself; I will check if my nose is alright, if my face is alright, but the inner face that we have cannot be seen in the mirror. It can be seen with the mind, with thought, with knowledge. Therefore, we need to think, understand, and critique ourselves to ascertain whether we are doing good deeds or bad deeds. Reflecting on oneself is extremely important.

In this lifestyle, we must always keep one thing in mind. That is, we are growing up in ideals and through what we are growing up. Our life is passing through what. What is our destination? Everything we are doing in the present, our work system. Will this allow me to reach that desired purpose and goal? If we think a little, we must definitely obey the commands of the Creator, this is what is coming to our mind.

So if we think a little from the knowledge of Islam, we can understand how important self-criticism is for ourselves. We think about why others do not pray, we think about why that person does not give charity. We think about why that person worships. But how many times do we think about ourselves? Let's criticize ourselves, let's practice self-criticism. May Allah grant us the correct understanding.
