Chariot Fair, Gazipur

Chariot Fair is held every year in Gazipur district. It is held next to Shaheed Barkat Stadium. However, the Gazipur Chariot Fair is held at the same location every year. This is the culture of Hindus. This fair is held on the occasion of the chariot procession. It was completely confined to the road. The fair held on the occasion of the Rath Yatra begins every year at a specific time. It is basically a cultural event of Hindus. However, even after the Hindu cultural ceremonies are over, the fair continues here. Although, according to my religious principles, I did not enter during the Hindu culture here. However, I visited here during the fair.

Along with the festivities at the Chariot Fair, various types of shops can be seen. There are various types of food shops here, ranging from various toy items. Most of the shopkeepers here are Muslims, although they have no idea about this rath mela. They mainly sell their products here for business purposes. This is a very noisy area on both sides of the road. More crowds can be seen here during the chariot fair. If only I had visited here after the chariot journey was over. Anyway, if you enter here, the first thing you will notice are the shops on both sides of this long street. Here you will find shops selling everything from food items to toys, furniture, clothing, etc. People visiting the fair buy their necessary products from here.

There are a number of toy shops for children along the road. All kinds of toy products that children love are available here. Here I noticed many types of toys made from balloons. There are also numerous jewelry items for women here. Not only that, but I also noticed many clothing items for boys here. There was more T-shirt sales here. However, I have not noticed any such clothing being sold for girls. However, there were more than one shop selling women's jewelry.

Nose flowers, earrings, party bags, etc. existed. There were several food shops here, along with clothing and jewelry. However, I noticed delicious food at most of the food shops here. Here I noticed a shop selling seasonal fruit juices. Various fruit juices were being sold there recently. It existed in a van. Fruit juices such as mango, orange, lemon, apple, pineapple, etc. were being made and sold. Natural fruit juices were being made and sold here at very cheap prices. From here, people can purchase natural fruit juices at prices ranging from 20 to 80 taka. Which is limited to a value of 1 steem to 4 steem.
