The Diary Game 8th July 2025 | A beautiful day of journeys, shopping and reviews.
All praise is due to Allah Almighty who gave me the opportunity to spend a beautiful day.
I woke up early that day. Because our previous plan was that Imran, Jibon, and I would go to Dhaka together. Imran and Jiban are the elder brothers in my hostel. Anyway, I woke up early that morning and washed my hands and face and freshened up. Then I checked the notifications on Steemit. After visiting Steemit for half an hour, I rested for a while. Then I had breakfast. After breakfast in the morning, we set off together.

We left the house and headed towards Joydevpur Junction. After going to Joydevpur Junction, we planned to leave for Dhaka from there. Anyway, I was happy to reach there within the allotted time. We arrived at the station on time, according to the train schedule. Anyway, after we reached Joydevpur Junction, we started our train journey from there. We traveled from Joydevpur to Tejgaon. We boarded a commuter train to reach Tejgaon station.
After boarding the train, we couldn't find any empty seats. And that's why we had to journey standing up. After we entered the train, the train started its journey and shortly after the journey started, TT arrived and we purchased two tickets from him. The price of two tickets was 40 Bangladeshi taka. The price list of which is mentioned below.

Anyway, we got on the train. After boarding the train, we stood for a while before setting off. We stood at the airport station, but the seats soon became empty. That is, many passengers get off at the airport station for their destination. We found some empty seats and took them. Then the train started its journey again from the airport. Within an hour, the train reached our first destination, Tejgaon.
After the train reached Tejgaon station, we got off the train. After getting off the train, we started looking for a hotel. After finding the hotel, we had a light breakfast there. So we went to the hotel, looked at their food menu, and ordered the breakfast we needed. The hotel had adequate food facilities but we didn't want to eat too much food at that time. Because we were feeling bored walking after eating heavy food. Anyway, I have mentioned the pictures below of the moment I entered the hotel and had my meal.

According to the hotel menu, we ordered a tandul bread and a vegetable-mixed dal each. There was a very cheap breakfast available here. I bought a large loaf of bread here for only 10 Bangladeshi taka. However, the price of pulses mixed with vegetables seemed relatively high. Anyway, I have mentioned the price in the list below.
Tandul bread | 4x10=40 Bdt Only | 2.35 steem Only |

Mixed vegetables with lentils | 2x20=40 Bdt only | 2.35 steem only |
Anyway, after we finished breakfast, we walked around for a while. While walking, we entered a mosque in Tejgaon. We basically prayed the noon prayer there.

We went to the Tejgaon Railway Station Jama Masjid to offer noon prayers. It was a wonderful atmosphere for praying here. I prayed the noon prayer here with great joy and attention. It looked very nice, anyway, I prayed and looked around inside the mosque. Which I have collected for the steem atlas. After praying the noon prayer, we left the mosque. Then I started walking outside on the city sidewalk.
It is a great pity that I was not allowed to enter Dhaka New Market. Because we went there at the wrong time. We were feeling a bit annoyed at this point. It was actually closed the day we went there. We were walking outside, but Jibon Bhai definitely had to do some shopping. So we set off towards Dhaka Elephant Road. But while in the Newmarket area, the surrounding area was covered in heavy rain.

Since the market was closed, we climbed onto a footover bridge to save ourselves from the rain. But the intensity of the rain was so great that the entire footover bridge was soaked. Then we were completely soaked. Anyway, we were still standing on the footover bridge. I stood there and took several photographs. I have already mentioned the pictures above. Anyway, I was waiting for the rain to stop a bit. But it was raining a little.
Since the rain didn't stop, we got off the footover bridge and went to a makeshift cosmetics shop. I call these cosmetics because they are women's adornments. They were being sold below, with polythene hanging over a makeshift shop. We spent some time there during the rain. At that time, we were spared from the rain for a while, but we got wet again. Below I have included some photographs of the temporary shop.

Anyway, we waited there for quite a while. But the rain was still pouring down. So we started walking in the pouring rain. We were walking and looking at the rainy surroundings around the road. We took a break for quite a while in the middle of our walk. Because we reviewed different showrooms from time to time. In particular, we entered an eyewear store along the way. We saw some new eyewear collections there.
We spent quite some time entering the eyewear store. The atmosphere inside was very charming. Jibon Bhai was looking at his favorite glasses and I kept capturing pictures from different angles of the glasses store. That's how I ended up reviewing the glasses store. The glasses here were very attractive and expensive. Below I have mentioned some pictures of the glasses shop.

We left the eyeglass shop and started walking. We were originally looking for Easy Fashion showroom located on Elephant Road, Dhaka. Because Jibon Bhai had said he would buy the T-shirt from there. However, Easy Fashion Showroom's products are elegant and available at an attractive budget. So we went there with Jibon Bhai and looked for his favorite T-shirt.
After walking for a short while, we came across Easy Fashion Showroom. We happily entered the showroom. After entering the showroom, I began to inspect the interior. It felt great to enter, because it was a different feeling to being in the AC in a showroom soaked in the pouring rain for a long time. It was undoubtedly very nice. Our bodies were dried out by the air conditioning system. Anyway, Jibon Bhai bought his favorite T-shirt from Easy Fashion Showroom.

Two T-shirts were purchased from Easy Fashion Showroom. The price of two T-shirts was 1950 Bangladeshi taka. Jibon bought two very nice T-shirts for 1950 taka. Anyway, we then paid the price according to the receipt. The above-mentioned receipt contains the price and some information about the store. Anyway, after buying the t-shirts, we left there.
The day passed by, finishing up my shopping and spending a long time wandering around Dhaka city. It is already evening. We decided to return home again by night train. It will take us at least another two hours to get home. Anyway, we arrived at Kamalapur Railway Station to reach home. We purchased our tickets from Kamalapur Railway Station and headed home. Below are the still images of the night after entering Kamalapur Railway Station.

Anyway, after we boarded the train, the train started its journey. From then on, within an hour and a half, we reached from Kamalapur to Joydevpur. The fast train reached our destination in a very short time. This is how we spent a full day traveling, exploring, and shopping. The day was very wonderful and insightful.
Thank you very much for reading my post. May everyone be well and healthy always by the grace of God. I end here with my wishes for everyone's long life. See you again, InshaAllah.
