The woman and the paper boat (oil on paper)

in AVLE 일상3 days ago

In front of the blank sheet of paper, I thought it was time to paint another piece on the theme "thinking about the sea". Around one year ago I painted a similar subject on a large canvas and, during this month, that canvas is part of a local collective art exhibition. People who went there loved so much that piece and I think it reminds something quiet and relaxing. During this strange, hard time I think the most part of people needs a pause from the many many bad, bloody news that come to us from tv and social media. To pause my mind from that I use to paint my "world apart" and I'd like to think my pieces could help people to have an awesome "pause".

In the following pics, you can see the final result of my new artwork

As you can see, the subject is one of my usual women with just simple lines to represent the face and a paper boat on her blue hair.
It's an oil colors painting on 300 gsm cotton paper in A3 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it:

I hope you like it.
