Not that bad for me. I score 1173 High Score Playing Steem Pong

One of the best gaming experiences that I have had in a long time was playing Steem Pong. As soon as I opened the site and began playing, I already felt that rush of pleasure that overwhelms when you are very much interested in something that you love. I thought that the game was going to be easy, but with time, I was able to notice that it was very demanding in terms of concentration, patience and speed of thought. I continued to play round after round, and after a long time I was able to score 1133 points, and that is something I was proud of since it showed me how much I had improved.

The game as such is entertaining. The falling ball, the paddle in motion, and the necessity to ensure that the ball does not fall off kept me alert. It let me down a bit whenever I managed to miss the ball but when I managed to hit it right, the sound and action made me pleased. It was a struggle between my concentration and the game. I was even more thrilled by the fact that I was not playing just for fun, but in a system that is connected to the Steem blockchain. In order to play, I had to purchase a token with my token, Active Key, which cost me 2 Steem tokens. That made the game worth something, since I was not playing it without a cost, instead, I was committing something to have fun.

I also got to know a lot when playing Steem Pong. To begin with, I came to learn that success involves being consistent. Any distraction was penalized in the game thus I needed to be alert. It made me remember that at the time when you lose your focus in life, you could lose your opportunity. The more I practiced, the higher I scored - and that is what I learnt, that you can only get better with practice. I did not make 1133 on a lucky day; I made it due to persistence, on many attempts which failed, and still I decided to take another chance.

Patience was another thing that I learned. In the beginning I would be in a hurry to score well within a short time but I realized that in rushing I made mistakes. I played better once I slowed down and played calmly and did not move his eyes around. It was a life lesson to me to always be calm and patient because in most cases it will yield better outcomes not only in games but also in real life.

The concept of the Steem tokens brought me to the realization of the impact of technology on the world. I also liked that this game allows associating fun with the blockchain realm, where real tokens are presented. It is no ordinary online game up to now, it is a cross-over between entertainment and online money. I was proud to be involved in such an experience as I was not merely playing, I was also involved in something modern and innovative.

I smiled when the final score was displayed - Game Over: 1133. I knew I had done well. I had previously gotten lower scores, but I was able to practice my previous boundaries. When I saw that figure on the screen I felt like I had accomplished something. I even paused to admire how much effort had been invested on the game. It got me to remember that no matter how we go about things in life be it gaming, studying or working, we should always strive to improve the previous achievement.

Steem Pong is a game I am already looking forward to playing again. I would like to make my record, and maybe 2000 points next time. The excitement of every single bounce, the difficulty of keeping a ball alive, and the pleasure of making a good score make me want to be back. I would also like to keep on training on the same on the game, to remain focused, patient and enduring.

After all, Steem Pong was not just another game to me. It was a teacher in disguise. It helped me know that concentration is rewarded, patience is improved and that even minor efforts count. I had a good time each and every minute of it - sending my 2 Steem tokens and scoring 1133 points. And as I set to play again, I now know at least one thing- the next time I play I will do better.
