My Experience Playing Pentris Game

in Italyyesterday

In recent times, I was having a pleasant experience with a game named Pentris. Very similar to the popular Tetris, Pentris is a block-stacking game that still has its own uniqueness and style. The idea of the game is easy: to organize falling blocks, which have the different shapes to create entire lines. When a row is full then it goes away and this provides you with more room to keep playing. The game ends in case the blocks stack up too high and are not cleared. It is a simple matter, but the truth of the matter is that it takes clear cut thinking, quick decisions and proper planning.

I had previously played the free play version of Pentris. It was entertaining, but I knew there was a premium version that I had to purchase a token. This time round I decided to go ahead. I purchased a token of 2 Steem just to have a feeling of the real version. It was my first time playing the premium mode and I was highly excited as to how this would turn out.

I was relaxed and concentrated at the beginning of the game. The blocks were dropping gradually and I could turn and fit blocks in place. I was confident that I was going to score heavily because I had some practice in the process of playing the free mode. However, as the game got going, the speed got faster and that is where the true challenge started. The blocks began to arrive faster and my decisions were to be made rather quickly. I attempted to follow but somewhere along the line I went wrong.

On some occasions, I turned a block in the wrong direction and it fell in a bad position. On other occasions I used blocks to fill gaps that could not be easily occupied. And the errors started to accumulate, and I mean the blocks started piling up until I was almost at the top of them. That was the end of my game. The words Game Over appeared on the screen with a final score of 180.

I was somewhat disappointed initially in the fact that I had thought I could have performed better. It was my first and I had expected to get higher than that since it was on the premium version. However, on reconsidering I noticed that this was the start of it. Practice is necessary for every game and the more I play the more I will be good.

Playing Pentris also made some useful lessons. The first lesson is patience. Rushing in the game is just a cause of error. Although the blocks drop in a short time, you must keep your cool in order to make the optimal moves. The second thing is that learning involves making mistakes. Each block out of place made me realize that we do make mistakes and they should not prevent us in life. They ought to rather challenge us to do better.

One more lesson of Pentris is the lesson of preparation. As in the game, one can see the upcoming block before it falls. This aspect makes you learn to plan, not only live in the present. I observed that I ended up in trouble whenever I did not pay attention to the preview of the following block. It was less difficult to fix the blocks in place when I planned beforehand. Lastly, one other thing that Pentris taught me was persistence. Although I am scored low in this instance, I am sure that with practice, I will certainly be able to do better.

Other than the lessons, I also liked the sensation the game provided me. Pentris is thrilling, stressful and entertaining simultaneously. It engaged my intellect, and it put my rapid thinking ability to the test. Although I have not scored high, I was still proud of myself because I played. I did not feel wasting 2 Steem on the token. I read between the lines that it was an investing in my personal fun and rest. At times we use money in activities that fail to make us happy in life, but this one provided me with enjoyment and life experiences simultaneously.

This time around, having tried the premium version, I am better determined to continue practicing. My present score of 180 might not seem very great but it is only a point of beginning. In the long term, I think I will be able to score higher. I will be more attentive to my moves, better rotate blocks and use the preview more efficiently. I do not only want to score better than I did but continue the challenge until I play more skillfully.

Personally, Pentris does not seem to me to be a game to kill time. It is a form of mind training as well. It imparts concentration, choice and tactic. It also indicates that perseverance is success and development. I will certainly keep playing it, both as it is entertaining and as a workout of the brain.

Finally, the first time that I played Pentris in the premium mode was extremely memorable. I was more dedicated since I painstakingly spent 2 Steem on the token and despite my score of just 180, I can only say this was only the start of my experience with the game. The best thing is that I experimented, I have learned and I had fun. It is my opinion that I will improve through additional practice and score higher.

To date, I feel satisfied with my work, and I expect myself to do better in the future. Pentris can be seen as a mere block game, however, to me, it is one that teaches patience, planning, persistence, and the importance of practice. And that is why this experience will be something special to me.
