I always like playing games online, not only because I have fun doing it, but also because I learn things through playing games. In this case, I played a Windows app called Steem Pong on the Steem Retro Games site. It was an extremely thrilling experience though it was not exactly as I wanted it to be. I was left with 1079 points, and I even felt that it was not my best despite it appearing a good score. There are moments when things do not work, however, quitting is not the way to solve the problem. Rather, we should find some means of moving on and making a second attempt. In life, in business or in learning life, failures are part of the process. Steem Pong made me realize that losing it once does not mean that the game is over, but it is necessary to become smarter the next time.
Even though I referred to it as Not My Good Day, I am satisfied with the experience since I know that the next time I play Steem Pong I will be able to do better. I am already picturing myself playing better, with more reflexes, clearer concentration and even a higher score. Such games make you want to revisit them every time since you will always think that you can do better than you did earlier. I consider it as entertainment and mind training.
To sum up, I enjoyed my experience playing the game of Steem Pong, which was also very inspiring. The 1079 points might not impress everybody, but to me, it was more of a personal goal and a challenge to improve on it next time. When I spent 2 Steem tokens, it dawned on me that there is a physical correlation of the game to blockchain and I enjoyed that combination of entertainment and worth. Above all, the game helped me to be patient, focused, and resolute - things that come in handy in real life.
