Anche in questa stagione luglio e' passato e siamo, finalmente, ad agosto, lo Zenith dell'estate.
Dopo avere avuto animatrici olandesi, tedesche, slovacche e della lontana Africa in agosto lo staff si italianizza, i contratti con le straniere arrivano alla fine e i meeting della preparazione della giornata, dopo due mesi che si facevano in inglese, tornano ad essere fatti nella lingua di Dante.

L'impressione e' di una estate con davvero pochi italiani in circolazione, ma direi con poco turismo in generale, almeno da queste parti; Lido degli Estensi, Lido di Spina.
L'altra sera, dopo aver finito tutto sono uscito per una birra in paese, alle 2 di notte, sabato, fine luglio, le strade erano quasi deserte, poca gente nei pub e nei locali, sembrava di stare a maggio.

Le spiagge sono una lunga fila di lettini vuoti, oramai siamo ad agosto se non si riempiono adesso rimarranno vuoti per il resto della stagione.
Agosto, il ferragosto, le tremila cose che dovremo fare per ravvivare gli ospiti poi, dal 20 in poi sara' tutta discesa anche se rimarremo qua', alcuni di noi, fino al 14 settembre.
Ultimo sforzo e la portiamo a casa.

AUGUST

July has passed this season, too, and we're finally in August, the zenith of summer.
After having entertainers from Holland, Germany, Slovakia, and faraway Africa, in August the staff becomes Italianized, contracts with foreigners are coming to an end, and the day's preparation meetings, after two months of being held in English, are once again held in the language of Dante.

The impression is of a summer with very few Italians around, but I'd say with little tourism in general, at least in these parts; Lido degli Estensi, Lido di Spina.
The other evening, after finishing everything, I went out for a beer in town at 2 a.m., Saturday, late July. The streets were almost deserted, few people in the pubs and clubs, it felt like May.

The beaches are a long row of empty loungers; it's August now, if they don't fill up now, they'll remain empty for the rest of the season.
August, mid-August, the thousand things we'll have to do to cheer up our guests, then, from the 20th onwards, it'll all be downhill, even if some of us will stay here until September 14th.
One last effort and we'll bring her home.
