Le prime due partite della gestione Gattuso hanno portato in dote 10 gol fatti e 4 subiti.
Abbiamo giocato contro Estonia e Israele (contro cui non si doveva giocare...), quindi che arrivassero due vittorie era quasi scontato, dico quasi perche' dopo la Macedonia del nord di scontato non c'e' piu' nulla.

Con gli estoni ci abbiamo messo un ora per sbloccarla poi e' andata tutta in discesa, con i giocatori del paese terrorista e' stato uno psicodramma.
Prima sotto per due volte, poi sopra di 2 gol, poi pareggio e alla fine vittoria con un tiro di Tonali telefonato, allo scadere.
Prendere 4 gol, di cui 2 autoreti, da Israele e' un abominio ma se questa nazionale era, con Spalletti, una squadra di pippe morte con Ringhio almeno e' una squadra di pippe vive.

Visto che difesa e centrocampo fanno acqua tanto vale provare a fare un gol in piu' degli avversari.
Certo coi norvegesi sara' un'altra musica ma perlomeno siamo tornati in vita, almeno per il secondo posto nel girone che ci garantisce lo spareggio.
Gattuso ha capito con chi ha a che fare e cerca di mettere in campo una squadra sbilanciata davanti sapendo che i gol comunque li prendiamo.

E' in controtendenza con la nostra tradizione calcistica, basata su grandi difese ma oggi i tempi sono questi ed occorre adeguarsi.

NATIONAL TEAM

The first two matches under Gattuso have yielded 10 goals scored and 4 conceded.
We played against Estonia and Israel (who we shouldn't have played against...), so two wins were almost a given—I say almost, because after North Macedonia, nothing is a given anymore.

It took us an hour to break the deadlock against the Estonians, then it all went smoothly. With the players from the terrorist country, it was a psychological drama.
First, we were down twice, then up by two goals, then equalized, and finally won with a brilliant shot from Tonali at the end.
Conceding four goals, including two own goals, against Israel is an abomination, but if this national team was, under Spalletti, a team of dead wimps, with Ringhio at least it's a team of living wimps.

Since their defense and midfield are weak, we might as well try to score one more goal than our opponents.
Of course, it'll be a different story against the Norwegians, but at least we're back on track, at least for second place in the group, which guarantees us a play-off spot.

Gattuso has understood who he's up against and is trying to field an unbalanced team up front, knowing we'll concede goals anyway.

It's a departure from our footballing tradition, which is based on great defenses, but these are the times these days, and we need to adapt.
