Come da promessa elettorale di Trump, qualche giorno fa la Corte Suprema degli Stati Uniti ha deliberato in via definitiva che il Parole Humanitario e' carta straccia.
Parliamo del permesso temporaneo di residenza, concesso dall'aministrazione precedente, ottenuto col patrocinio di uno "sponsor" che coinvolgeva cubani, venezuelani, haitiani e nicaraguensi.

Fatemi dire un cattiveria.
Sono "contento" per quei cubano americani che in massa hanno votato per Trump perche' facesse "un culo cosi' al regime cubano" e che ora si trovano a dover salutare parenti ed amici, gente che erano riusciti a fare entrare nel paese fungendo da sponsor vendendosi pure i rubinetti di casa per raccattare il denaro necessario.
Sono anche "contento" per i cubani che, dall'isola facevano il tifo per il tycoon e che ora si trovano con in mano un pugno di mosche, qualora avessero preventivato l'uscita dal paese con quel sistema.

Il provvedimento era stato abolito lo scorso 24 aprile da Trump ma ripristinato da un tribunale del Massachusetts, ora con la sentenza del Tribunale Supremo il discorso si chiude definitivamente.
Parliamo di mezzo milione di persone che, fino ad oggi, risiedevano legalmente nel paese con possibilita' di lavoro, usufruendo dei servizi assistenziali fra cui i preziosi buoni pasto e le carte di credito gratuite per acquistare beni di prima necessita', che da venerdi' scorso sono diventate clandestine che risiedono illegalmente nel paese e sono finite nelle liste ICE di tutte le forze governative di polizia e di quelle dei vari stati dell'Unione.
Se pescati verranno immediatamente espulsi.

Per non parlare del danno economico che patiranno gli sponsor che hanno versato di tasca loro bei soldi per garantire l'entrata di amici e parenti, ora quei soldi sono nel vento.
C'e' ancora, per ora, la ley de ajuste cubano ma l'eventuale protezione scatta dopo 1 anno e 1 giorno di permanenza in Usa senza aver neanche preso una multa e solo se la richiesta e' stata effettuata nei tempi giusti.

Quindi (cito da Cuba Facile) i cubani entrati col Parole

1. Da residenti legali temporanei diventano, seduta stante, residenti illegali passibili di espulsione.
2. Possono usufruire della ley de ajuste solo dopo 1 anno e un giorno di permanenza in Usa.
3. Possono fare richiesta di asilo politico anche se non hanno ancora maturato 1 anno piu' 1 giorno in Usa.
   Chi ha gia' ricevuto la Green Card e' ovviamente al sicuro da questo provvedimento.

Forse...
Prevedo anche una revisione di ogni documento presentato per l'ottenimento della Green Card, anche a distanza di anni dalla concessione.
Se per esempio si e' omesso di dire di aver fatto parte del PCC o di altri enti governativi, e' sufficiente una delazione tramite web per riaprire il fascicolo.
Quindi davvero votare Trump per i cubano americani e' stata una tafazzata senza precedenti.

VOTE FOR TRUMP? BRILLIANT!

As per Trump's campaign promise, a few days ago the Supreme Court of the United States definitively ruled that the Parole Humanitario is worthless.
We are talking about the temporary residence permit, granted by the previous administration, obtained with the patronage of a "sponsor" that involved Cubans, Venezuelans, Haitians and Nicaraguans.

Let me say something mean.
I am "happy" for those Cuban Americans who voted en masse for Trump so that he would "kick the Cuban regime's ass" and who now find themselves having to say goodbye to relatives and friends, people they had managed to get into the country by acting as sponsors, even selling their home taps to raise the necessary money.
I am also "happy" for the Cubans who, from the island, were rooting for the tycoon and who now find themselves with nothing, if they had planned to leave the country with that system.

The provision was abolished last April 24 by Trump but reinstated by a Massachusetts court, now with the ruling of the Supreme Court the matter is definitively closed.
We are talking about half a million people who, until today, were legally residing in the country with the possibility of work, taking advantage of welfare services including precious food stamps and free credit cards to buy basic necessities, who since last Friday have become clandestine immigrants who reside illegally in the country and have ended up on the ICE lists of all government police forces and those of the various states of the Union.
If caught, they will be immediately expelled.

Not to mention the economic damage that will be suffered by the sponsors who paid a lot of money from their own pockets to guarantee the entry of friends and relatives, now that money is up in the wind.
There is still, for now, the Cuban ley de ajuste but any protection comes into play after 1 year and 1 day of stay in the US without even having received a fine and only if the request was made in the right time.

So (I quote from Cuba Facile) the Cubans who entered with Parole

1. From temporary legal residents they immediately become illegal residents subject to expulsion.
2. They can benefit from the ley de ajuste only after 1 year and 1 day of stay in the US.
3. They can apply for political asylum even if they have not yet accrued 1 year plus 1 day in the US.
   Those who have already received the Green Card are obviously safe from this provision.

Maybe...
I also foresee a review of every document submitted to obtain the Green Card, even years after the granting.
For example, if one has omitted to say that one was part of the PCC or other government agencies, a denunciation via the web is enough to reopen the file.
So voting for Trump for Cuban Americans was really an unprecedented blunder.
