How to play the Pentris Game
Now there are three different games in the Steem-Retrogames platform. The Space Invasion, Steem Pon9 and Pentris have been newly added to the platform.
The Pentris reminds me of a popular game called brick game that contains simple white and black images and has funny sounds which usually remind me of my childhood days. I know you must have also played the brick game before.
For the Pentris game, the goal is for players to earn points by completing horizontal lines and clearing them. As a player, you can play the Pentris game on any device, such as your smartphone or PC.
How to start playing
- Visit the Steem-Retrogames platform and click on Pentris as the screenshot shows.
- You can choose to either play the game via the paid mode or the free mode.
Note: *If you click on Buy a token, you will have to pay 2 STEEM, which will allow you to play the game and automatically save your scores for you. This mode also allows you to win monthly, weekly, or daily price draws. For this post, we're going to use the free mode.
- For the free mode, click on Play and use the features shown on the right-hand side of the game to move the pieces.

The goal of this game is to get players to clear horizontal lines by fitting the various pieces together and completing them without leaving any gaps.
In my own case, I have played the Pentris game and got to a point where I failed, because I didn't carefully plan where to place the pieces, which would place anyhow, leaving some gaps.
🎉 Congratulations!
