There's this 90-degree bend that has very limited visibility. I know perfectly well that's the case, which is why I tend to almost scrape the fence of the house located in the middle of this intersection. I was almost ready to turn into the street where I live when I saw a white van coming straight at me, at a high speed, despite the fact that there was no view on that bend...

My blood ran cold, in a fraction of a second I clung even more tightly to the railing of that fence wall, the van suddenly widened the curve, because at the last moment it saw me, it wouldn't have hit me, even if it would have passed very close to me, there was no impact solely because I was really clinging to the railing, even before I saw it, there was another car, on the opposite side, which if it had been only twenty meters ahead, would have seen the van coming towards it in turn, by a sort of miracle there was no accident, instantly and instinctively I swore horribly at the driver of that van, leaving him a thousand curses and repeating a rosary of blasphemies, I'm sorry but when it's necessary, it's necessary, if by pure chance he had dared to stop, I can assure you he would have made a huge blunder, because I would have arrived in his nose, without even giving him time to explain, because a maneuver like the one he did can neither be commented on nor understood, one can only condemn...

Una pianta di rosmarino con tanto di ramo fiorito, mi aveva attirato, qualche ora fa, con questo suo colore delicato, mi sono fermato giusto un attimo, per fare questo scatto, poi ho ripreso la mia marcia di rientro verso casa, ero appena andato a gettare l'umido nel bidone di raccolta comunale, so perfettamente che l'incrocio subito prima dove è ubicato è piuttosto pericoloso, ma non mi sarei mai aspettato la scena che ho dovuto, sotto un certo punto di vista, subire di brutto...

C'è questa curva, a 90°, che ha una visibilità molto limitata, lo so perfettamente che è così, per questo motivo io tendo a raschiare quasi la cancellata della villetta che si trova nel mezzo di questo incrocio, ero quasi giunto a voltare nella via dove abito, quando mi sono visto arrivare contro un furgone bianco, a forte andatura, nonostante ci fosse quella curva senza visuale...

Mi si è gelato il sangue, in una frazione di secondo mi sono attaccato ancora di più alla ringhiera di quella mura di recinzione, il furgone ha allargato di botto la curva, perché all'ultimo momento mi ha visto, non mi avrebbe colpito, anche se mi sarebbe passato vicinissimo, non c'è stato l'impatto unicamente per il fatto che ero davvero attaccato alla ringhiera, anche da prima che lo vedessi, c'era un'altra vettura, dalla parte opposta, che se fosse stata solamente una ventina di metri più avanti, si sarebbe vista venire contro a sua volta il furgone, per un mezzo miracolo non c'è scappato l'incidente, istantaneamente e istintivamente ho inveito di brutto contro il conducente di quel furgone, lasciandogli mille maledizioni e tirando un rosario di bestemmie, mi dispiace ma quando ci vuole ci vuole, se per puro caso avesse azzardato a fermarsi, vi posso garantire che avrebbe fatto una grandissima cazzata, perché gli sarei arrivato nel muso, senza neanche dargli il tempo di dare spiegazioni, perché una manovra come quella che ha fatto non si può né commentare né comprendere, si può solamente condannare...
