Avevo visto sin da subito che questa sera avrei avuto vita non facile, un po' come sta succedendo al nostro caro Jannik Sinner, che sta facendo una fatica bestiale a reggere il confronto con Carlos Alcaraz nella finale degli US Open di tennis, anche se nel 2° set, almeno in questo preciso momento che vi sto scrivendo, l'alfiere italiano sta conducendo per 4 a 1, ma non lasciandoci andare a facili entusiasmi, e torniamo rapidamente alla mia molto più modesta partita di questa sera a Pentris...

Dicevo che è stata dura per me, e non scherzo assolutamente, ho iniziato la partita di questa sera così, cercando di realizzare almeno una riga intera quasi subito, invece lentamente mi è scivolata tra le mani, e i mattoncini multipli si sono via via accumulati, arrivato a un certo punto mi sono visto chiaramente e nitidamente il film finale, che non sarei riuscito a collezionare nemmeno una riga piena, invece, ancora non so bene per quali misteriosi motivi o colpi di fortuna, ce l'ho fatta, ho centrato il mio obiettivo minimo, andando a collezionare un punteggio finale che è basso, ma non bassissimo...

269 punti, certo, ho fatto molto meglio, anche in un recentissimo passato, ma nella vita occorre anche accontentarsi, quella di questa sera la si può configurare come una partita del classico bicchiere a metà, dove a seconda dei punti di vista si può vedere il bicchiere mezzo pieno o mezzo vuoto, io lo voglio vedere mezzo pieno, perché sono chiaramente soddisfatto di non aver fatto una figura pessima, non collezionando la mia tanto agognata riga piena, per cui abbozzo un sorrisetto di felicità...

Intanto l'incontro, quello vero, quello tra Sinner e Alcaraz, tra procedendo, la partita è davvero intensissima, con colpi che viaggiano a velocità altissima, sono veramente i primi 2 giocatori al mondo in questo momento, adesso che vi sto scrivendo Sinner è riuscito a portarsi sul punteggio di 5 a 2 a suo favore, ma il 2° set non è ancora assegnato, Alcaraz è un osso duro, anzi, durissimo da rosicchiare, vado a godermi l'incontro, che si preannuncia come combattutissimo, forza Sinner!!
