1-Israel: Damascus hit

On July 16, 2025, Israel struck Damascus, the Syrian capital. There were two targets: the Ministry of Defense and a building near the presidential palace. The Israeli government announced that this was a response to the clashes in Suwayda, southern Syria. It appears that the Druze have faced several conflicts in that area with government forces and jihadist groups. Israel's intervention was on behalf of the Druze; that is, it was intended to protect the Druze community, a community with which Israel has historical ties.
As a result of this attack, the following appears to have occurred. Syria's interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa, has handed over local security to Druze leaders.

Ahmed al-Sharaa = current president of Syria, in office since January 2025, following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024.
Druze community = religious minority with an esoteric faith.

Personal Considerations

An attack by Israel that I personally didn't expect was precisely this one that happened in Damascus, the capital of Syria. Now the conflict in the Middle East is further widening. Israel is currently engaged on several fronts, three if I'm not forgetting: the conflict in the Gaza Strip with Hamas, military intervention in Syria, and the conflict with Iran. Three conflicts with different characteristics and implications. Personally, I think Israel, without US support, would struggle to maintain all three conflicts and address them simultaneously.

The MSCI World Index and the iShares ETF continue to perform well. America, Australia, and Europe are still showing growth. I remind you that this index tracks the stocks of 23 developed countries, so for developed countries, things aren't looking too bad right now.

BTC is something incredible; on July 14th, just four days ago, it reached its all-time high of $122,900. Five years ago it was worth $9,150

Ho dato un’occhiata ad alcune notizie che riguardano l’attualità, il mercato azionario ed il mondo delle criptovalute, qui di seguito riporto le tre notizie che mi hanno colpito di più.

Qui di seguito vediamo nel dettaglio le notizie

1-Israele: colpita Damasco

Il 16 luglio 2025 Israele ha colpito Damasco, la capitale siriana. Gli obiettivi sono stati due: il ministero della difesa ed un edificio vicino al palazzo presidenziale. Il governo israeliano ha fatto sapere che è una risposta agli scontri avvenuti a Suwayda, nel sud della Siria. Sembra che in quella zona i drusi hanno dovuto affrontare diversi conflitti con le forze governative e gruppi jihadisti. L’intervento di Israele è avvenuto a favore dei drusi, cioè, ciò che ha fatto è stato per proteggere la comunità drusa, comunità con cui Israele ha legami storici.
Come conseguenza di questo attacco sembra che sia avvenuto quanto segue. Il presidente ad interim siriano, Ahmed al Sharaa, ha lasciato la gestione della sicurezza locale ai leader druso.
DOVE:
Ahmed al Sharaa = attuale presidente della Siria, in carica da gennaio 2025, dopo la caduta del regime di Bashar al-Assad nel dicembre 2024.
Comunità drusa = minoranza religiosa con una fede esoterica.

Considerazioni personali

Un attacco di Israele che personalmente non mi aspettavo è proprio questo avvenuto a Damasco, capitale della Siria. Ora c’è un ulteriore allargamento del conflitto in medio oriente. Attualmente Israele è impegnato su vari fronti, se non ne dimentico nessuno sono ben 3. Conflitto nella striscia di Gaza con Hamas, intervento militare in Siria, il conflitto con l'Iran. Tre conflitti con caratteristiche ed implicazioni diverse. Personalmente penso che Israele, senza l’appoggio USA, farebbe fatica a mantenere in piedi tutti e tre i conflitti ed affrontarli contemporaneamente.

L’indice MSCI World e l’etf di iShares continuano a non deludere. America, Australia e Europa mostra ancora crescita. Ricordo che questo indice replica i titoli azionari di 23 paesi sviluppati, quindi per i Paesi sviluppati, attualmente non sembra andare poi tanto male.

BTC è qualcosa di allucinante, il 14 luglio, 4 giorni fa ha fatto il suo massimo di sempre, cioè 122.900$. cinque anni fa valeva 9150$
