The game that I played is known as Steem Bingo and I should say that it is not only exciting but it is also full of suspense. Steem Bingo is a unique online card game in which the players purchase the cards with the Steem tokens and await the drawing of numbers. Assuming your card has the numbers that have been released, you win. If they don't, you lose. In this round 177 I decided to roll the dice with five cards and I used my 5 Steem tokens to participate. The cost of each card is 2 Steem, although there are packages and occasionally one can acquire more than one card. I was quite pleased when I verified my transaction since I was sure that my numbers had been included in the game.

On round 177 when I saw my cards, I was extremely excited. All the cards are loaded with numbers at the bottom to the top. One of the cards, say, has on the first row the numbers 7, 10, 13, 14, 15, and on the second row numerals, interestingly enough, such as 32, 41, 49, 54, 65, 70, etc. On the front side of another card there is 1, 6, 7, 13, 14, in the first line, followed by others such as 33, 41, 49, 55, 66, 70. The best thing about steem bingo is that every card is different, and you cannot be sure which of them might become the winning card.

I had a close look at my 5 cards. One of it was marked with 4, 5, 10, 11, 14 and on the other one, 16, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 or something on the top row. The figures were very encouraging to me. Though Bingo is a game of chance, when you have your numbers, you cannot help feeling that some of them will definitely be called. I had already begun to think about the feeling I will have when the announced numbers will start matching my numbers.

Steem Bingo is not played in a series but in rounds and this was round 177. Every round is exciting on its own since there is never a round that is the same. You can win and you can lose sometimes but the best thing about the game is that you could always be sure of another round. That is why I am already contemplating round 178 without even the outcome of the round 177. With each round, you have a new opportunity to have luck.

The possibility of winning in Steem Bingo is as much like life as it is. You do not necessarily know what tomorrow is going to be, but you never give up hope. As in life, one needs patience and optimism. I do not know whether or not my cards will win, but I think that the very attempt itself is a part of winning as it demonstrates bravery and optimism. In case I succeed, I will be very happy, and the reverse will happen in case I fail to. My cards already give me hope as they include numbers, and I am willing to watch how the draw will be.

Risk and reward is one of the main lessons I have learned about life playing Steem Bingo. There is no assurance but once you do not make a move, you can never move. I consider the game to be a reflection of life or sometimes you are going to win, sometimes you are going to lose but you have to continue playing and believing. The 5 Steem I employed to purchase my cards is what we invest in our life day in day out with the hope that one day, the harvest will be sweet.

The other lesson is that excitement and hope are potent emotions. The happiness of being involved even precedes the results. The anticipation, the waiting, the fantasy--it is all beautiful. Steem Bingo has helped me to remember that the destination is not always as important as the journey. It is already enjoyable in itself to look at my cards and wait until the numbers.

I am a Nigerian guy and I have to tell you that life here is not easy but it is not hard, it is full of opportunities. Playing such games as Steem Bingo helps me learn not to give up and to continue gambling because sometime I can win the lottery. Patience and consistency are always rewarded, whether in the game industry, business or in life itself.

I am extremely hopeful about round 177. My five cards mean that I stand a good chance to win something, and even in a case of losing, I will be better in round 178. Steem Bingo is not a game of chance to me only, but it is a game of lessons, hope and excitement. In my opinion, as time passes and I work hard and persist, things are bound to begin improving.

At all times as I await the numbers to be drawn, I have my hope alive and my heart full of joy. Who knows? Round 177 could well be my lucky round. However, even when not, I already anticipate the next rounds, life is like Bingo, never to surrender.
