I want to become a beekeeper! - Issue #13 - Standing at the crossroads of beekeeping.

I will begin my story about how I am moving towards my network, which is ultimately a business called beekeeping, with the fact that I cannot teach anyone anything since I have no practical experience in beekeeping, but when many variations of the theory of beekeeping have been filtered over several years, then perhaps what I have chosen for myself as a path, the right path for a beginner, can be useful for someone, because, perhaps, you will save a lot of time, and time, as you know, is priceless.

I will simulate a situation in which I was able to return to my homeland and began to make hives.

I will incur costs that I will want to return, I will have to save and look for the most economical ways to solve problems, at the beginning of this business.

So, there are several areas of beekeeping that have their pros and cons.

The first direction is the desire to get the maximum amount of honey, pollen, bee bread, propolis and wax.

As for honey, it is not always possible to sell all the honey at retail prices and you will have to turn to wholesalers, whose prices vary from 30 to 40% of the retail price.

You will have to work hard, but in the end you will not get exactly what you expected.

The next direction is the growth of bee colonies and their subsequent division into divisions and the sale of bee packages.

This is a profitable direction, but you will have to sacrifice a large part of the possible honey harvest.

The same loss of honey awaits when orienting the apiary to the breeding of queen bees, but, during the honey collection season, queen bees are in great demand and, probably, this compensates for the shortage of honey in the hives.

This is the case if the beekeeper is alone and he has no assistants between whom he can divide the responsibilities.
