A Town that Sleeps with Its Eyes Open | Bulgaria Province
Greetings the fellow people of Steemit and the WOX Community!
Today we are gonna explore a very abandoned part of my country and it is a town that’s by the Turkish border called Svilengrad or by the international understanding it would be called Svilen-Town.
As it is in every country there are parts where when you drive by or visit when you are on the road look deserted. Well maybe deserted is not the best word go use cuz these places are reserved but still you can feel the absence.
Firstly i gotta say that it’s not all negative though. I have an album of this very interesting park that i took a walk in, but I'm gonna leave this for the next post cuz it would make the post too long.
Anyway we are starting from the Hotel that i was staying in and it had sort of nice view over the town. I think maybe this Hotel was probably the highest point of the city where you can take nice shots.
As you can see it looks like a normal town in the province but exploring it by car it feels more like one huge street with turns cuz exploring the whole town by car isn’t hard and i’m telling you there was only ONE pair of traffic lights and everything else was just streets which felt too unusual, but anyway let’s explore the town on foot in the typical huge general street which almost every city or town has, but this time it did not feel very crowded to be frank.
As you can see it’s not something special, but i also took a walk during the night and it felt more beautiful and a bit scary, cuz as i said this was the most ghost town feeling you can get in a fairly crowded town.
At night you can definitely feel the absence. Take a look.
Okay fellas this is the end of the post i know it doesn’t look much, but the park that i visited in this place is definitely more aesthetically pleasing. See you in the next post. 👋🏻☺️
