I don't know why canned beans has less meat even when meat was still cheaper

Sometimes during dinner I will not eat but a can of pork and beans so that at least I can put some nutrition in my body. It will be inconvenient for my mother to fix me some food during the night so I would feel my body if I will be hungry at night and if I would, I will have at least a mayonnaise sandwich or this can of beans for example.

I am already tired of eating mayonnaise sandwich because I had been eating it everyday after my strawberry sandwich spread had ran-out and mayonnaise was the one which replaced it because my sister gives us mayonnaise regularly. It could be still ok if some cheese is added to my sandwich but due to my phosphorus levels which I am controlling, I can't have it even if you say to put a small amount because it will all add up since my phosphorus levels is on the borderline.

Even beans id high on phosphorus so I also have to control in consuming it but maybe two small cans of it per moth will be ok, I just have to use Calcium carbonate so that I can be able to not absorb its phosphorus content. Even when my dialysis frequency had improved, I still have to stick to a strict diet and it is still making my life hard than it should be because of my appetite as an added burden about me wanting to get some enjoyment about eating foods.

Anyway, like the title says, why meat is less in a can of pork and beans? Plus why pork and not other meat ingredients? It would be better if these food companies would improve the contents of this food item so that many people will buy it. I haven't heard people being excited about their meal being pork and beans, I heard it when it comes to sardines or coned beef, but canned beans? no, but I guess it is because that canned beans has lesser meat in it.
