I had successfully enrolled my Windows OS to receive security updates until October next year because I don't want to upgrade to Windows 11 yet
I was worried to update my PC OS to windows 11 as it might make the BIOS dead although I recently changed in the Lenovo vantage to not make the updates change it. I suspected that the Windows updates before had made the camera of this laptop dead. The Lenovo vantage also will prevent the drivers of this laptop not to be updated as well and added to my worry that if I will update this PC to Win 11, it will make it unusable.
My real aim is to extend the use of this Laptop until I can get my hands on a newer one. Upon checking the windows updates in this PC, I get to have the option to get security updates until next year. After few clicks I was successful enough to get this laptop's OS system to get security updates. So I am happy with it and by the time that this PC will get to the end of having security updates I am already enjoying the use of another PC, Mini PC, or laptop God-willing.
