I just replaced my desktop speaker with Xiaomi although I can repair the old one

I bought a desktop speaker a few days ago and it got delivered to me two days later. It was to replace my other desktop speaker which has a battery inside it. However the battery inside just died and it affected the performance, it dies while on operation. I just thought that I needed a wired desktop speaker in order that the issue of a dead battery can be avoided.
I already saw how my particular old desktop speaker of other brand can be opened and repaired, I just need to have a new battery and then an additional power management circuit for the new battery which can easily be purchased. So with some elbow grease I can repair the old one. I might do that later since I do not want to throw away my old one since I do like its performance as well although its Bluetooth® is not that "functional" for my old laptop.
I don't know with this new desktop that I am using now, it seems that this new one doesn't sound as good as the generic one but at least I can have a Bluetooth 5.3 connection with this new one which I can be able to connect with my relatively new smartphone. It is a wired-in power and I can use my 5V 2A charger with it as well as my power extension cord with USB power outlets. The speaker can also be plugged to USBC socket.

I keep hearing more and more about the Xiaomi brand over here in the United States. I had never really heard about it but they have a new phone out that looks really cool.

mrwhosetheboss had said it all with this particular Xiaomi Smartphone and I can't say I am not impressed especially on how you use the rear camera to make a better selfie photos and videos which is one function I am also looking for a smartphone.
